I look at this series of threads occasionally when I need cheering up, have posted a few times before either with this nation or with others.
The name was partly inspired by my seeing a Mod remind people that the old American joke about "The right to keep and arm bears" should not be used as the basis for NS-UN proposals. The nation is about 95% Ursine in population, but has no native ponies.

Ah yes, we have that joke up in Canada too.

Everytime the US does something stupid (it was made a lot when George Duba Bush was president :p ) , we usually say "Well what do you expect from a nation that gives bears guns?" or something like that.

Anyway, its good that you're here. Even if its just for a little while.

I encountered the one and only episode I felt I should skip in my 'great rewatch' of MLP. 'It Ain't Easy Being Breezies" ain't easy to watch, so I skipped over it to my first "new" episode (that is, the first episode that came out while I was a fan), "Somepony to Watch over Me".

I hope to finish all of the series by the time I head off to college, since I don't know exactly how my roomate (and indeed, the rest of the people in college overall) would react to a brony, so I intend to go closet until I can get a read on the popular opinion (some people agree, others understand but don't share the interest, some don't understand but find it harmless, and others assume all fans of MLP are perverts of a sort - I have to find out what people at my college think).

Most people, in my experience, don't care that you are a Brony, especially if you take it as no big deal and don't make fuss. You are 1 Million times more likely to find a Brony than a hater. I did a short summer program at a university and my roommate was a Brony and we would talk about ponies.
