Most music with screaming isn't screamo, but it actually is a genre. The term is often misused, but what screamo actually is is a relatively obscure subgenre of emo that includes bands like Saetia, pg.99 and Orchid. It is also known as "skramz". EDIT: Glasers beat me to it.

Nickelback - Lullaby

Christian is Gospel, which is a genre. I don't know, I don't deal with religious music.

I don't either, though a couple bands I like, Anberlin and Evanescence in particular, are sometimes considered christian, which I wasn't aware of until I did a bit of research on them.

Nope

People might use it incorrectly, but it's a term that refers to a certain subset of Post-Hardcore music.

You learn something new everyday.
Literally everytime I've heard someone use screamo to refer to music that screams or growls, it's always wrong. Usually the music falls into Metalcore, Deathcore, Hardcore Punk, or Post-Hardcore genres (And some pop-punk, to the lesser educated).

Evanescence is Christian? Huh. Usually when bands are Christian, it suddenly becomes clear when the inference is made, like with Skillet. But I don't see how Evanescence is Christian. Hmph.

They were labelled as christian by the media, and their debut album was stocked in christian stores throughout the US. Much to my delight, they vehemently rejected the label and stated they were not christian. Anberlin is similar, they are labelled as christian, but they also reject it, though the lead singer is openly religious.

There is a difference between being a Christian Band and being a band with Christians.
