Actually, I could Imagine Elsa jump scaring Anna but not several years of a prank driving Anna insane.

Technically, it is. When he led the assault team to Elsa's castle and fought with the golem, that was, in a way, military ability.

Having said that, battling a snow golem is very different from fighting 10,000 enemy troops.
