Thank snow! Can't wait to discuss things related to Frozen after the last thread got ruined. Does anyone else find the Weaseltown joke unfunny due to the fact that the Duke is basically only in the movie so we would be surprised when it was revealed Hans is the bad guy? I did.

It was a bit cheap, yeah, but I figured it was just meant to get some laughs out of the younger audience. My little siblings certainly thought it was hilarious.

Due to reasons i posted earlier, i find the joke unfunny and irrelevant. Younger kid would almost certainly find it hilarious, though.

Olaf was another character who didn't add much to the plot. He was probably to keep the little kids awake.

I like Olaf, but i actually wish for Olaf to die at the end. I have no idea why.

Also, has anyone tried to animalize the characters?

I like everything in Frozen except Olaf. He should have melted at the end of the movie.

It was a little funny considering Weselton was an aggressor.

Olaf wasn't all that fantastic, but he was alright. I thought it was cute whenever Anna held his little stick hand.

Weselton wasn't an aggressor, they simply had a trade interest in Arendale and that's it.

I actually noticed two plot holes in Frozen like:
1. How the hell did Princess Anna suddenly turn from trying to hang out with her sister to finding true love?
2. How did Olaf come to life?
It's glad to be back after almost 3 months of inactivity!

I think it's sad that unfortunately, this thread isn't as busy as the original thread. Oh well. Has anyone noticed Arendelle citizens doesn't even have winter coats?

A mistake, since it's obviously a temperate country, with fjords and pine trees and all the other stuff, meaning that they should be better prepared for winter. It's not like they sell their winter clothes at the end of every winter. (I wouldn't say it's Scandinavian because, well...)

It is very unfortunate this thread isn't as active. The citizens of Arendelle might stay inside during the winter. The ice miners have coats.

1. She's a naïve teenage girl who's never had the opportunity to interact with any boys her own age. Elsa's coronation was kind of like a dream come true for her; she got to see her sister out and about, meet interesting people, AND possibly meet someone who could like her. There was no guarantee that Elsa would continue to keep the gates open and keep allowing visitors after her coronation ball (more likely she wouldn't), so Anna figured this was her only real sure opportunity to, ahem, excuse the cheesy term, "make all her dreams come true." For the First Time in Forever kind of explains all of that. I mean, she's got the rest of her life to try and interact with her sister, finding a guy was probably only going to happen that one time, as far as she knew.
2. Magic. Disney snow magic. I don't think that one needs too much explanation.
