I think it was some Johnny Appleseed movie. The guy spent most of his time skipping around and dancing from destination to destination, with strange (sometimes racist) characters popping in at what felt like random intervals...

I think I've got a new contender: The Other Woman.

Trite, immature, poorly written, clichéd, boring, unfunny movie with a shitty premise which relies on overuse of casual misogyny, cheap, tired stereotypes and potty humor to provide a ramshackle vehicle for Kate Upton's rack.

Probably at least the worst movie of the year, unless someone manages to set the bar even lower.

The Last Airbender. I really liked the animated version but seeing the movie just kinda made me want to cry.

Yeah, pretty much this. Jack and Jill, Eight Crazy Nights, just take your pick.

In my opinion, Eight Crazy Nights wasn't as bad as Jack and Jill. The movie more or less just confuses me. It has jokes that only immature five year olds would find somewhat funny, but has scenes where they talk about things that one would never put in a kids movie.

Jack and Jill was basically a "Oh my God, it's giving a headache. MAKE IT STOP"
Whereas Eight Crazy Nights was "That wasn't funny, and is this for kids or adults?"

It was more environmentalist than anti-imperialist, given that ultimately the Humans were more reasonable and sympathetic. Proper imperialist strawmen don't do everything they can to reach out to the population and establish diplomacy, to the point of spending billions of dollars, creating a school, offering valuable technology and medicine, all while their civilians are getting murdered on a daily basis, and wait to resort to violence until all else has failed.

They go straight to the violence, and the racial slurs, and the general nastyness and bigotry. The RDA leadership were assholes, sure, but at least they tried, and the natives were even bigger assholes.

I'm not 100% that I'd call it the worst I've ever seen but Smoking Aces was incredibly frustrating in that it seemed to be in the middle of an identity crisis its tone oscillates throughout the film and, possibly, tries to cram too much in or not enough etc).

More classically awful would be The Mighty. Gattaca is far superior to The Mighty.

To be honest, I feel like the fact that the humans were more reasonable and sympathetic than the aliens is purely a mistake; it seemed JC tried hard to make it all "humans r chaotic evul durr" but ultimately failed, IMO.

Also, lets not forget that, besides the obvious lifts and plagiarizm, that its suspiciously similar to The Jesus Incident by Frank Herbert. But, another thing that pissed me off about it was the military stupidity. Seriously, they had to BS a bunch of stuff, bend realism a bit, and then BS even more to give the Neolithic-age blue guys even a remote chance of winning against the trans-Newtonian humans.

I absolutely abhor the movie Battlefield Earth. I was excited to be entertained with the imaginary works of L. Ron Hubbard only to have those hopes dashed by terrible acting and staring at the same use of tilted angles the entire film.

The Last Airbender.

I was just complaining about the movie to classmates earlier. But M. Night Shymalan, that show was my childhood! And he took it in his stride.

"He took my childhood in his stride! But he was gone when the money came. And still I dream that one will come! A good rendition of my show! But there are dreams that cannot be! And there are storms we cannot whether. I had a dream that film would be! So different from that sellout, we viewed! So different now, from what it seemed! Now Shymalan has killed the dream...I dreamed."

Dude Tank Girl kicked ass,but I didn't like the musical number in the middle of the film.Very bizarre.

Now as for a girl power movie that was lame there is Bend It Like Beckham.I had to watch that in High School for some reason.

As far as the worst movie I have ever seen. That'd go to "Don't go into the woods" and it's lame story/direction.Waste of a hour and a half.

I can't make up my mind, but for mood and story format, I'll go with Grey.

It's a nihilistic downer throughout and the credits roll when the climax of a normal story should've began.
I think Karl Rove should hold his nose during an election for a change.
