Worst Movie You've Ever Seen (NO SPOILERS)

Postby Australian rePublic » Mon May 19, 2014 2:38 am

What is the worst movie you have ever watched?
For me, it would have to be Clueless. Once, in high school, the teacher put it on and I had to watch it.
It was about a school girl who fell in love with a man who she did not know was a homosexual and the whole movie was about her chasing him, and trying to get her drivers licence.
IT WAS THE MOST BORING THING EVER PRODUCED
I was thinking that either I'm gonna fall asleep or sit in the back of the room laughing. I chose the latter. I was laughing at the people falling down the stairs, cheering when she almost crashed into a semi-trailer and booing when she managed to avoid it.
And my teacher was just rolling her eyes and saying "men"
Anyway, what was the worst movie you have ever seen?

EDIT: Tell us what was so crappy about it, without spoilers

I have to say, it's a tie between the Star Wars prequels. Hayden Christensen is just about the worst actor I've ever been forced to watch. He just can't pull off a good line without that never-changing expression on his face.

wow, that sounds shit that does sound bad... mine would have to be ''Looking for Albrandi'' about some greek girl in Australia whom the movie centered on, it basically went about her going to school, meeting some dickhead blah blah blah her rich guy friend she likes kills himself (high point of the movie for me. uppity twat) she has a sob, falls for dickhead and blah blah blah really bad jokes, stupid plot and basically makes about as much sense as radical feminism or the twilight series.

Probably any movie made by The Asylum, though their Sherlock Holmes ripoff was particularly bad.

Hey, it's not his fault. He's a decent actor, it's just the George Lucas is a giant piece of shit. If you watch the scenes were he doesn't have any dialogue, you'll see what I mean.

Even with the shitty dialogue, he was easily one of the least annoying parts of the prequels. Well, I guess the whole romance subplot was one of the most horrendous things I've ever had to sit through, but still, that's all on George.

Christensen wasn't that bad, he just had bad direction. Anyway, the prequels weren't great, but they weren't that bad either. They get a lot less credit than people give them.

Death Wish V. A sadly disappointing end to one of the better action movie series of all time. Death Wish IV was also bad, but V managed to be even worse.

That's a tough one. I'd have to say... Avatar. I don't understand the hype over it, it was terrible. It was more like an Anti-Imperialism documentary with lots of CGI, bad acting, and a crappy plot.

I'd have to say the TV movie "Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer". Sure, let's base a movie on a mediocre song. GENIUS.

It promised way more than it delivered. If it had been billed as a fun sci-fi flick, and had the preachyness toned down a bit, it would have been way less disappointing.
