I managed to get my hands on a dragon Egg in the got mod for CK2 from a merchant whilst fighting the kingdom of the Rock. I went to hatch it and it warned me that it was a highly dangerous event and that unless i had a lot of dragon knowledge it could kill me, so i was wondering how would i obtain this knowledge? Will events pop up for it now that i have the egg? Or do i have to do something specific to get it?

I tamed a dragon as a Clawman Used it to unify the claw and break away from an ailing Westeros.

His son was less than lucky. Akin to a more incompetent Samwell Tarly and just as heavy, when his father died, he tried to tame his "brother", and was promptly killed by it. His 2 year old son now sits upon the Throne of the Claw.

Hmm, dont have either dragonstone or Kings landing, but when i was in Dragonstone attempting to reclaim it from Rock Soldiers who occupied it (where my character was the overall leader) i did get an event about the stone dragons and eggs, and my characters thoughts on them which gave me some prestige. This was just after i got my egg so maybe i just have to be in those locations to get it?. And i do have Summerhall under my control and the Targs tried doing a bunch of things there regarding the dragons so that might help.

Though my character is as stormlander as you can get so the bonus from the Targ and Valryian culture goes right out the window.

Sounds bad haha.

In my current stormlander game i helped overthrow the Targaryens and install the Prince of Dorne as the New king. With the power of the Reach, the Stormlands and Dorne (as well as the extra benefit of The Rock being neutral thus not getting involved) we triumphed and cast them out. We then invaded the Rock after it took over the Reach and triumped again, though my character Alyn Clayworth died fighting against a lannister lord in one on one combat at the age of 69.

His son Steffon then took over and helped finish them off, he died of natural causes at the age of 49 like two years later. So his son Stannis took over and he is my current character and easily the best out of three of them. We then invaded the Rock again because they launched a rebellion.

During said rebellion a random Valyrian woman showed up in the riverlands with 28k men aiming to take the throne. No worry, we outnumbered them about 3-1... only she had Balerion the dread with her... so she won and killed everything that stood against her. Now we have a new Queen with a massive Dragon. The only one in westeros i believe so no one will challenge her. The vale tried to break off as independent though... brave bastards, they lost. BAD.

I'm quite good as Finland; held out against the Soviets from 1940 until 47. Last Axis power standing.

Nice work, Ive never really had a go with a minor country before, i had a couple of bashes with the Czechs and Yugoslavians but that is about it. Best i ever did was take over southern europe as an axis Yugoslavia but got bored around the 1942 mark.

Also had a go with Communist China once, its a pretty challenging but fun one to do.

I haven't played HoI for a while though, so I might be a weak link in the team. Perhaps we could all go with the allies and try to defend Poland? Or is it strict anti-Soviet rules?

Well in regards to Estonia, it would be tough, but if the Estonian player (say in this instance me) put all of his army towards the northern pass above the border lake i could hold there if someone (say the Latvian player) covered the southern approach, though that could stretch their army a bit as well.

You can have Estonia if you want, i have no real experience when it comes to tiny countries taking on large ones such as the USSR, mainly i would take on other minors. But ify ou want to go with Finland go ahead.

Also probably would not hurt to get some experience with them in, playing as the majors get a bit dull after a while..
