DoW war on colonizable province (2 sea zones away or land border). March army in, win war (it can just be retinues, province won't put up resistance). Then you pay 1000 gold to establish thr colony.

After that, it's a bunch of random events that alternately cost money or reduce progress in colonising. Larger the main building is, the longer it'll take to colonise.

Mind you, Old Ghis= best province to colonise. Dany is OP when she has Meereen, Astapor, Yunkai, New Ghis and Old Ghis provinces under her control, since she can raise more men from those than the rest of the Ghiscari Empire combined.

I can't seem to be able to siege. I have something like 20 thousand troops sieging the ruin, but nothing happens - and it says not enough to siege, even though clearly the defenders are much less.

What province?

It might be a glitch. Try assaulting it.

Ah, I just checked the forums. Seems after a bit of waiting the level is supposed to go down, as it was created to prevent easy raiding for Pirates/Ironborn.

Though thanks for the help.

Yup.

So I guess that leaves me with Estonia.

Yep. And I think I own all of them. I might be missing one.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

(In the ASoIaF Mod for CK2, from the Crowned Stag start: )
I had the Iron Throne peacefully go to Viserys, after Aegon's Conquest failed, Stannis died before Robert did, and Renly died heirless. Does that usually happen?

Wut.

Yes, Aegon's Conquest usually fails, yes Relny dies heirless usually, but Stannis dying before Robert? That's unusual.

Yeah, he died so Robert inherited Dragonstone. After Robert died too, Renly took it all. Aegon came and failed, and then Renly died heirless.
Viserys inherited, is currently succeeded by his daughter, though the next heir is.... Dany, who is a Bodyguard in some Republic's court......

Also, because Robb Stark was a courtier of the Lord Paramount of the Vale due to being a landless husband, he got the Moon Gate. Now, after he inherited the North, the Moon Gate is part of the Kingdom of the North.
Talk about locking up your wife...... :p

No idea.

Also, did I mention that nothing-knower Snow became a Kingsguard (I think it was to Renly)?

I was holding a feast. Before the feast proper started, I got an event in which I saw troupe of acrobats performing and decided to have them perform at the feast. I clicked the option to have them perform and... there was another event. It was exactly the same, but with musicians instead of acrobats. I ended up with about 5 of these events, all on exactly the same day. My feast better be damn good after this.

I really really wish there was an event in that mod that allowed you to smuggle mercenaries and assassins into a feast/wedding disguised at musicians ala
Red Wedding
It would screw your relations with near everyone immensely when it was found out but say if you had enough intrigue you could lie about what happened and get people to believe you. It would just fit the setting so well.

Pls no. For the Sake of the Starks I sent to the Riverlands, who had to live there when I fought them a couple years later.

EDIT:
Also, defeating the Riverlands as the North seems to be really easy, crashing down on them with 20 thousand troops on each bank of the (Red?) Fork.

Immortality trait plox.

In all seriousness though, yes, I agree. But if you are suspicious or something, there should be a chance of discovering it, and/or even managing to turn the tables.
Additionally, based on skills, after it fires, there should be various possible outcomes
Similar to how in ASoIaF Cat holds somebody of Walder's hostage to let Robb go, or how at first the Northmen resist, and they possibly could do so successfully.

That kinda stuff.

Basically, if you put it in, it really has to be fleshed and thought out.

Oh definitely, if they have high enough intrigue they could find out on their own, or if they have a good enough spy master they good do it. Maybe their allies/vassals could find out as well and depending on their relations with you they may share it or not, say you pissed them off so they might hide it and join in on the betrayal or not show up at it. Same could be if you had high enough martial you could fight your way out or turn the tide against them.

There would be so much stuff you could do with it.

Just won the Crusade for Andalusia. Now I have way too many titles. Also, I can usurp a Sultanate (or could if the target wasn't at war) and an Emirate. I almost want to do it just to have a Catholic Emir.

Edit: I just did. Turns out it just become a duchy. Oh well.

Unless you become Andalusian yourself, and then it stays an Emirate. Same with Sultanate, etc.
