it's the first blatantly p2w thing I've seen in the game, since I joined after premium rounds became available to buy with silver.

AMX M4 49 was pretty bad, but at least it wasn't fucking invincible like the Defender.

Because WoWS is at the ranges that old armour layouts were meant to work at, modern layouts were meant for longer ranges.

According to the armored patrol, WG will not be nerfing current premium LTs but these LTs will get the reduced matchmaking coming with the addition of Tier 10 LTs.

WoWS issue is much more that they use historical data for armour schemes and gun penetration, but with ahistorically compressed ranges.

6.3 is going to be a shitshow. The blanket change their making is way too heavy handed for what was just a couple of ships capable of abusing stealthfire to a really dangerous level. Other ships who could pull it off could only do it if you're sitting still essentially, which is what high tier BBs do a lot, so the problem falls back onto the static nature of most BBs in high tiers.

Yeah. I don't really know how you'll fix BBs being static though unless you make CVs or IJN DD torpedoes viable again.

The only time I've even stealthfire killed a BB with my Fletcher using guns was a Yamato, sitting still, bow on, just taking shell after shell from me, bitching about stealthfire the whole time. And the best part was I was just within detection range after firing but behind an island. Just goes to show if you fail enough, even you can get your own Yamato.
