Honestly I tend to play the ELC as more of a heavy tank - it's large HP pool can generally allow it to trade with same-tier tanks and if you angle its armour it can bounce some pretty ridiculous shots! I find the top 90 doesn't really fit well with the tank, it's RoF is too bad. I do, however, enjoy using the 75 SA44.

It's cool to think of it as a light TD though with that 90. You just have to make hit-and-run attacks. Very satisfying against say, Japanese heavies.

Scouting on Ghost Town, north spawn. I head along the north boundary to the north west corner, and do a loop over the sand dune there. Nothing. Normally, I've spotted a scout rushing me (I always do when heading for this corner from south spawn) or something else. Nothing within view range. I do a circle and think "sod it", and charge at the base.

ARL V39 is sat on a hill at spawn, not looking at me. Keep rushing. Still doesn't look. The guy's AFK, sweet. So I find their Birch Gun, pop it, and their M37, and pop it. There's a Chi-To in spawn that's also AFK. I sit behind the M37 waiting to reload before I pop it, then I get behind the ARL to reload again, before I put one up his bum and run away. I've been spotted by plenty of their team and they all want a piece of me.

Fire one round up the V39's arse, turn left, and drive away. It then rolls backward, and turns to the right.
He was never AFK. He was just completely incompetent, must have been camping in sniper mode.

The best part? I would have shot along the bottom of his screen to shoot the Birch Gun, in front of and next to him. Plus, he was the one who spotted me in the first place.
Useless team, deserved to get rolled 15-4.

Followed it up with a game that made my pants tight. Top hill on Cliff; Excelsior and Lee were pushing around to our side of it. Slid down the mountain to kill the Excelsior, TD took care of the Lee. Then get rushed by a Cruiser IV and Covenanter, kill the Cruiser, Covenanter killed by team.

Then rush around to the west lane where the enemy team are sending their heavies and TDs; slide down the hill, pop a KV-85 in the turret, then powerslide in front of the cover a Flak Bus was using and pop him in the face.

Nice. Fubuki is a fun underage bote, and Akatsuki even more so. The 127s are sooo much nicer.

Fubuki is so much more satisfying to play, those guns and torps are a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, that's about right. Going down the German heavy TD line too, but only on the StuG III G right now.

Jagdtiger really isn't slow, it's just slower than the Jagdpanther II. It'll do 28 slightly uphill, that's almost impressive for heavy TDs.
