After the painfullness of Pensacola/New Orleans/Baltimore, Des Moines is such a breath of fresh air it hard to remember that it isn't even a particularly good ship for its tier.

Moskva reminds me of that every time i look at her now that she graces my port...............

The Duck is wearing her gamescom camo. The UI is Pravda Team's Kancolle Enchant mod, with the Eugen Enchant theme.

Apparently refusing to circle a T29 in a Sherman Firefly is cowardice worthy of team killing.

The guy that told me to do it was in a 59-16 (?) that died within the first 30 seconds of the match beginning, then promptly called the mediums on his team a "bunch of wankers" for not supporting him, even though they were fighting two enemy Tier 8 heavy tanks.

The fast ones who decide to go fast straight from the start often are the first to die. It is amazing how those speedballs expect heavier, slower units to keep up with them. When you drive a T-150 or an IS, you are not going to be at that point at the same time as that nimble scout tank. It's why it is so important to use cover and wait for reinforcements.

Or do what I do is spot tanks, then run away. Or find a spot where I can keep mobile and keep them spotted.

So I've been grinding the tiger p for a few weeks off and on, and ground out enough xp (150k) to unlock the ferdinand! (haven't bought it yet) I'm going to grind out another 100k on the tiger p in the coming weeks and months in preparation for the new german heavies coming out sometime this year. While I still think the tiger p is very sluggish, it is a quite fun tank.

I finally finished grindind the tvp vtu, and promply stripped it of its equipment and consumables and bought the skoda t 50, which I'll start the grind through in the near future. I also finished the grind to the tortoise and bought it!! I'm not gonna play it until I have enough free xp to get the top gun though. A tier 9 at15 doesn't sound appealing lol. Bought the m103 a while ago...its stock turret blows! I try going to hull down places and just get pwned. So sad. Oh well, I think as far as american tanks go for a while I"m just gonna play shermans for fun and the patriot to grind credits and train crew.

The M103's turrets (both of them) are fairly soft, so the upgrade won't solve that problem. The top gun makes popping and shooting much faster, though.

Just gotta find stupid enemies and/or git gud. Or both.

Oddly enough I tend to play Akizuki as a skirmish boat, hunting down lone BBs with guns/torps while they're distracted by something easier to shoot at.

That's what I find she's best at. She can be fun racking up the hits from stealth fire range, but if you want to do serious damage, popping up in smoke/behind an island less than 10km from someone, and going full hog. I've even gotten some citadel hits on fully broadside cruisers from close range. It's great.

I hope Radio Direction doesn't fuck her up too bad. :( I like my Ducky.

What the actual fuck just about covers... Whatever that is. Looks more like a Tier II/III cruiser than a Tier V DD.

I'm done for the night, no way i can top this and it comes just when i was starting to doubt the Des Moines.

By the way, gotta give a huge shoutout to the Gearing for his help at the start. And i mean huge.

Except the ship they handed us is dated to 1917, and the 1907 class was under 1000 tonnes in displacement, so we're getting a VERY paper ship.
