Implying that it would otherwise be odd for a person with non-European ancestry to enjoy a movie just because it takes place in a place based on European countries?

As one might know, Else was originally going to be the villain of "Frozen," until further writing felt that there wasn't enough weighty background reasoning to make her the villain. A user on deviantart wrote a hypothetical summary about what a villain-Elsa "Frozen" would have been like. After the little Elsa has hurted Anna while playing with her ice powers, her parents decide to isolate her so that she can´t hurt herself nor Anna anymore. Over the time, the lonely Elsa is getting frustrated and jealous of Anna, who is loved by her parents and is never locked up. The envy and anger are getting bigger and Elsa decided to freeze her own heart, so she won´t have to feel the pain of not being loved and her loneliness.
One day, when Elsa should become Queen of Arendelle, she runs away and turns herself into the Ice Queen singing Let It Go and celebrating, that she finally is free. The good girl is gone forever .
To take revenge on the people, who kept her locked up, she brings the eternal winter to Arendell, so now the others are isolated and must suffer, as she did before.
Anna sets off to find Elsa to stop the winter, because the animals are about to freeze to death and the people are starving.
When Anna finally finds Elsa in her Ice Palace, Elsa wants her to leave and demonstrates her immense powers and that Nobody can ever stop her. Accidentally an Ice lightning hits Anna's heart .
Then Hans, the Prince appears and saves Anna and captures Elsa. But the Prince emerges a villain (equal to the original movie) and leaves Anna to die and sets of to kill Elsa.
And the rest happens similar to the movie, Anna is able to rescue Elsa before Hans can hurt her by sacrificing herself. Because of this sacrifice Elsa's frozen heart melts and she realizes that she is loved and can love back. But she also realizes, that it´s too late, because her sister is dead and she cries heartbroken. Through Elsa's tears of love Anna's curse is broken and she wakes up.
You can imagine what Elsa will make with Hans
Happy End
I thought it was interesting enough, though a lot of the comments flat-out said that they would have preferred a villain Elsa, and it would have made her a deeper character. I personally disagree, I think she's actually deeper as a mere confused antagonist (note, that an antagonist doesn't have to be a villain). But what do you think? Would villain Elsa make a "deeper" more interesting character?

Frozen deals with European government. Hispanics tend to be isolationists when it comes to their nations.

a) No, Frozen does not. I don't know how many times we have to say that until it stops flying over your head.
b) Nothing stops someone from liking a movie based in a different continent, regardless of what their political sovereignty stance is.
c) I'm American. I care primarily about what happens in America. I'm not going to get up in arms about a country I've never been to because Elsa is blonde.
Anyone on the villain Elsa speculation BESIDES RSSS?

Arendelle is supposed to be the Kingdom of Norway.
