Eh, maybe a little, but that sympathy went sailing out the window pretty quick when he revealed the lengths (up to and including cold-blooded murder) he was willing to go to in order to get himself a throne.

Not really I thought he was fairly cute but other than that he was kind of satan as a human being. I mean he has the cute factor going for him but I can't think of much else as to why anyone could sympathize with him.

Well, there is an argument to be made that he's the result of his upbringing, and if we take his word for fact about all his siblings and the way he was treated by them, there is some grounds for sympathy. Plus, he did seem to be legitimately interested in making sure the people were cared for properly during the crisis. It seems to me that he wanted to have a throne and title all his own, but it's also clear he doesn't want to be seen as a cruel or uncaring ruler given he tends more toward subterfuge to get the sisters out of the way. After all, he only resorts to open attack on Elsa at the end when the perception by the public would have been less "strong man attacking a young woman" and more "hero bringing down a monstrous witch."
Which arguably makes him that more unnerving of a villain, because he might actually be a very good and well-loved king if you aren't privy to what he is capable of doing to get there.

Can we please not insult one of the greatest minds of our world by comparing him to a cardboard two-dimensional Disney villain?
Prince Hans is like Caesar because he was thought of as ambitious by some for caring about his fellow citizens and Arendelle's citizens and he paid the price by people jealous of him just like Caesar.

I suppose I can't disagree with what you said, although in my books the cute aspect gets a lot more sympathy than harassed by older siblings and could be a good king.
Also, on an unrelated note: As a student of history and someone preparing for their degree in European history I must say this is possibly my favorite thread of all time. The enjoyment I've had from reading almost every post in it is too high for my own good. Bless you all.

No he isn't. He's two dimensional, not all that clever, and nowhere nears as cold, calculated, and logical as Caesar.

That is just like Caesar.

He isn't much like Caesar at all. Now if the Southern Isles Imperial Senate all decided to stab him with daggers like sixty times then sure I'd say he is like Caesar. Plus it would have made for a much more interesting ending.

Princess Anna punched him like Brutus and company stabbed Caesar.

What no. She punched him after he tried to kill her and her sister like really.
Brutus stabbed Caesar to stage a coup with the rest of the senate over nothing of the sort.
Hans: Kinda hot probably Nordic guy who is an evil little shit.
Caesar: None of the above and add brilliant by every definition of the word.
