I know the feeling, new Impaled Nazarene album came out 4 days ago, it's also relatively underground band so of course all I could find in youtube is ~10 minute long studio teaser. And I'm too broke to buy it. Though it might be the first 2014 I actually buy

Two of my favorite songs by them are the ones where she sings ominously, and just generally feels like their darkest

But some of my favorites are also the ones where she sings all "sweet", or whatever.

I think her style of singing being ominous just makes it creepier
