Way better? How is MMC not the best season finale? It had fuck tons of epic songs, had a great story, and just plain had swag. Twilight's Kingdom was great, but it wasn't as good as MMC. "You'll Play Your Part" Might have been a great song, but A True True Friend, Celestia's Ballad, and I've Got To Find A Way were all equally epic songs.

MMC's problem for me was that it was way too rushed. It would've been better as two-parter, it just tried to squeeze way too much into mere 22 minutes. My favorite finale is still the Canterlot Wedding.

I agree that MMC would have been even better if they had more time, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. Maybe I'm biased, since I fucking love musicals, but MMC is easily the best season finale. But, not only is the story told through epic songs, it has a really well written and emotional plot, and everything about it was awesome.

Actually, I thought the songs in this finale were terribly uninspired unlike MMC.

Emotional plot? Yes.
Well-written? Not really. The cutie mark switching, for example, not only threw the previous canon into turmoil, but was poorly explained and internally inconsistent ("it's not just their memories, Spike" when their memories were clearly altered).

One of the biggest complaints about MMC was that the condensation of music didn't give the story a chance to "breathe" (something which that overrated waste of time "Pinkie Pride" apparently did).

"A Canterlot Wedding" remains only one of four episodes that get 10/10 scores from me. It's a pity the critics love to rip on it.

I've given 10/10 score for 45 episodes :unsure:

15 in S1, 12 ins S2 and S4 and 6 in S3.

Also, second comic down. Damn this is gonna take forever. Oh well, I got nothing but time, even if I do comic/day I'll be done before June :lol:

6.6, there was few amazing moments and I laughed at few points. Sadly RD's egoistical attitude didn't really do it to me, and she was too OOC at few points. She said things I'd imagine hearing from Rarity rather than RD.

(not sure if that should be spoilered or not :p )

I just realized something. There's a great disturbance in the balance of the main characters. We have 2 earth ponies, 2 pegasi, 1 unicorn and 1 alicorn. There needs to be 2/2/2/1. New main character (unicorn) introduced in S5 premiere *nods*.
