Next week on Game of Thrones, Tommen stops being a pussy.

No, for real.

The way things are going...

Tommen is going to end up in one of those cells as well. How long will people keep quiet about his parentage now?

Also glad they're not killing off Bronn yet. After seeing that cut in the last episode, I thought he was done for. You still got to wonder though, what was that build-up for? First ge hets poisoned, next episode he gets unpoisoned...meh. The Sand Snake girl has rather nice t-...eeth though.

Right ive not seen the current episode, but i saw a Game of Thrones video on Youtube titled "Poisons of Dorne", didnt watch, but judging from the title, ill say someone semi important/important dies this episode.

Dont spoil it for me though by confirming or denying, i want to see if im right.

Haven't seen the episode either.
So in that case, book-readers who haven't seen the last episode... let's gamble.
I don't see it being Cersei, she didn't die yet and her dieing now would be a massive change.
Jamie got this all new plotline, can't be him either.
What I could maybe see is an attempt to poison myrcella, which while not killing her, leaves some sort of permanent damage.

DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST EPISODE

I hope you won't be too disappointed when you learn that the only thing the "poisons of Dorne" were about, was an immature girl demanding to be called pretty... :p

I approve of this.

Has he really been through shit though? Compared to the other GoT characters, his life has been pretty awesome so far.

Oh I'm sure he enjoys it. But being the personal enforcer, trial fighter, etc. along with hearing the bitching from the nobility about how tough their lives are will be hard on a person's health. A just reward for such occupational hazards should be marrying the banging hot bastard daughter of a Dornish prince.

Really enjoyed that episode overall, ending was perfect seeing the look on Cersei's face as Lancel came through the door.

Also Stannis smacked Mel down as he should have, if he consented to her idea of using his daughter i would have been very very very angry. I hope he kills her one day.

Also go on Sam ye dog ye, wish Ghost tore into those fuckers.

Another thing that left me wondering two episodes ago...

Why was Olyvar (the gay boy-toy from Littlefinger's brothel) so eager to cooperate with the Sparrows? It was the smugness with which he revealed Loras' secrets that I found somewhat puzzling. He didn't appear to be scared into cooperation. Also, won't he be punished for his "perversions" as well?

Maybe he worked out a deal or some sort of penance like Lancel must have.

For the book readers, explain this to me. Even if R+L=J is true, Jon is still a bastard because Rhaegar was married to Elia and the Seven Kingdoms doesn't recognize polygamy. That means Dany and Griff if he is who he says both have better claims than him so what really is the point of R+L=J if Jon could never be king anyway?

The Targayens did practice polygamy though. If Jon's parents were married, he would not be a bastard.

Many, many Targaryen bastards have laid violent claims to the throne. Though none of them succeeded, many of them came close. Also, it doesn't really matter whether or not polygamy is officially recognized, and honestly it doesn't matter if Jon's a bastard or not. The son of the beloved Rhaegar? They're gonna crown the shit out of that. Dany, riding upon Drogon, with /two/ sons of Rhaegar as her consorts? You literally could not have a more perfect set of claimants.

No he would be. The Targs were initially able to go above the law because of the dragons. Even then iirc it ended after Maegor the Cruel (the third Targ king), whose decision to take a second wife angered the Faith and led to his exile before he took the throne.

Only the Blackfyre's did, and that was spurred by a)them being legitimized b)rumours that Daeron II was actually a bastard himself, but that born of the Queen.

Is it possible for the High Sparrow and the Faith Militant to support Tommen when Cersei, Loras, and Margaery are in prison?
