He directed a few of the early episodes and D and D were running off the outline he gave them. But aside from that Martin had little to do with the utter trainwreck that was the final season of GOT.

He basically stopped working on the show after S4 though...

I'm pretty sure he only kept his producer and advisor role because it was an easy couple mil. a year for doing basically nothing.

By the end of the show a man rules the 6 kingdoms, Daenerys is a genocidal maniac, Cercei an incestuous evil being, Margarey Tyrell burned and missandei decapitated. Wow, such female bias! Women only got into power after the war of the 5 kings, out of necessity and were proven to be just as bad (if not worse) than their male counterparts. Many men are portrayed as amazing characters with few flaws, such as Tywin Lannister, Oberyn Martell, Jon Snow, Podrick Payne etc.

Not to mention that the show closely follows the book up until Season 4.

The only bias the show has is a bias towards the Starks.
