I think its time to host an informal, stakeless dead pool about the next episode; Who is going to die in Ep 3?

Brienne, Grey Worm, Thoros, Tormund, Bran Stark, Theon Greyjoy

Damn right! I think we all know what Podrick did to those girls. Lets just hope he can serenade the Night King.

I honestly think they had already filmed the scene with Jon, Sam and Edd and decided to throw in the Ghost CGI afterwards. None of the characters seems aware that he is there. Sam even says “only the three of us are left.“ Shame on you Sam, for ignoring your fellow crow!

Also I am really worried that Ghost will buy the farm next episode.

Greyworm (dude discussed his retirement plans with Misandei, which in film logic is the same as dropping a nuke on one's own head), Theon, Tormund, Brienne, Gendry, Beric. Jorah and/or Lyanna Mormont. Basically all the second characters who got a last chance to shine this episode. The exception are Sandor, as he is still needed for Cleganebowl and Edd, because Edd always survives.

Grey Worm and Beric I think will die by the end of the battle, however many episodes that is, and I think Sandor will survive, but the rest I'd say are up in the air, though I doubt they go unscathed. Although, they might be trying to trick us with Grey Worm, letting him live but killing Misandei. Or it's just a red herring in general. And they better not touch Gendry.

But if Tormund dies at this point, he will forever live on in the minds of the heroes as this comic relief "barbarian" character (who made Davos decide he needed a drink that night) who hit on the Brienne... is that a good way to be remembered or not so much????

If he does die, I'm sure they'll give him a suitably awesome death. Worst case he gets something like what Grenn got.

I used to be a Torbrienne shipper, but let's be honest, she wants to be with Jaime and the show wants her to be with Jaime. So if Tormund can't get the girl at least he can get a kickass death scene.

If Brienne dies it will probably be in Jaime's arms in some way, he even asked to be at her side in the battle.

Dany is going to be absolutely torn between Jon and the throne now. Assuming Jon actually wants to make good on his solid claim. We could have another war on our hands here. That would make an episode. Jon vs Dany, anyone?

The episode 3 teaser also confirms this. He's to the right of Brienne as she rallies her men.

I like how despite the fact that Sansa "recognises" Daenerys as Queen she holds her own as a sort of quasi-independent power block. This is no doubt learned from her King's Landing internship where she learned that calling yourself King/Queen was not necessarily the same as being one (Tyrion/Tywin could boss Joffrey around when the right cards were in place).

Her overall attitude is, "Yes Danny, I will show you a limited number of courtesy and recognition as Queen. But until and unless you do more, I'm not going to give more than what is required... and I can get away with it because we're in the North."

Yes but Sam didn’t say his father taught him about doing what’s right he said Jorah’s father taught him.

Also Sam never wielded Heartsbane, he killed a white walker with a dragonglass dagger

Real return to form with this episode.
Lots of payoff for character stuff that's been years and years in the making. Brienne is obviously the highlight, but pretty much every interaction was good.

But, uh, how old is Arya meant to be?

Deadpool:
Jorah, Grey Worm, Beric, Theon.

Others I think could feasibly bite the dust are Bran, Davos, Edd, Pod, Gendry and Brienne.

Everyone else is safe.

I believe Arya is 18 at least according to what I found on the game of throne wiki.

Also I am putting my money on these characters dying:

Bran, Theon, Jorah, Brienne, and Sam.
I do be tired

She’s 18 in show. She’s 15 in the books I think, but they aged kids a bit for the first season since the actors were older. Williams is 22.

Considering that all the civilians are in the crypts with all of Winterfell's long dead I wouldn't be surprised.
