As far as I'm concerned, Revan is the most powerful force-user in the Star Wars universe, even if he didn't get the whole immortality thing down like Plagueis or Sidious.

Except for maybe Yoda...

Psht. Yoda would get his ass kicked in a fight, even if Revan didn't have the Star Forge to aid him.

Yoda of the prequel trilogy maybe, but Yoda of the original trilogy is the man, yo.

Revan was a Sith Emperor.

Well actually...

I don't think Revan could stand against the ancient sith lords without the Star Forge.

The only reason why Revan was beat by the Emperor was because he was backstabbed, right?

Sith Emperor of TOR was pretty disappointing to me. Cool concept, but he doesn't look any different from any other sith in the game.

Speaking of plot.

I' beginning to think that characters such as Count Dooku and General Grievous are kind of boring once you begin to think about them.

Well considering you can almost write Dooku off as Saruman of the Scifi world, yea I suppose so.

While I love Lee and everything he's in, Dooku was just boring in the film at least for me.

Of course I'm a diehard prequels film and have seriously low expectations for the Disney films, soooo yeah.

Dooku was a patsy and an apprentice, at best, of Palpatine.

He was bound to be boring and undeveloped.

Surprisingly Dooku is one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars franchise. :P Dooku is expanded upon a bit more in the EU but overall he IS an underdeveloped character with in my opinion vast potential. He's still undoubtedly one of the most powerful force users of the franchise though more on the second tier then top tier.

Also I think I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Bearon a die hard Star Wars fan that has made several failed attempts at Star Wars RP's due to my stupidly packed schedule and lack of motivation. Nice to meet ya. :P

I can confirm that...

Personally though i wish Dooku was introduced earlier or at least got bigger backstory while he was on screen instead of been a last minute villain played by one of my favorite actors.

Same. One of my favorite novels with him in it is Dark Rendezvous and I would love more short stories of him during the clone wars or even him going on missions with Qui Gon when they were master and apprentice.

Do you guys do Star Wars debates in this thread?

Ya we have debates.

I also found Grievous (Who i personally think is a badass) was also just there for a last minute villain with no backstory and no screen time. I find this sad because he had (Along with dooku) a boat load of potential in being a lasting villain if they brought him in earlier but instead he is just kinda there for the movie and then gets killed. The more you look at it every villain except sidious was just kinda there for a good fight scene before getting basically killed.....

I wish Dooku had gotten more screen time in Revenge of the Sith.

The Clone Wars showed more of him and his character.

I have a present for you. ;3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPw4jiZ66B8

Also most villains in Star Wars do actually get some explanation in the EU but the films weren't really enough to cover Star Wars' extensive history.

I'd put him in low second tier or high third tier.

Yeah he's a great character over all and you can see his struggle a lot of the time as he's joined the Sith and the Dark Side but he's also trying to do what he thinks is right as he's slowly corrupted.

I have read that The Clone Wars and Rebels, among other things, are also canon. Which would obviously mean Dooku's depiction in The Clone Wars is canon.

In the Clone Wars he just rubs off as your stereotypical old puppetmaster that is the puppet of a better puppetmaster.

The Rakata, if I recall correctly, were the first race to create an intergalactic empire.

But then again, the canon's been changed so much that I really wouldn't know for sure at this point.

Didn't the Kwa make an empire?

Nowhere near as big.

Besides, the Kwa were benevolent, so I don't think it was an empire in the specific meaning (military expansionist), more just a colonial nation-state.
