Other than Anakin's dialogue if it needs to be said. I'll give you that one.

Probably because Anakin gave terrible dating advice for loners. Supposedly talking about how much you hate sand gets the girl to start loving you. Then, if you start talking about how she's in your soul tormenting you, that supposedly turns her on. Good job, Anakin, good job.

Well, I don't think he's suppose o be giving dating advice.

He is the Chosen One after all... maybe his dating advice could be put to good use? He already f'd up his chance at being the Chosen One for the Jedi, why not the Chosen One for dating advice?

Not to mention that Anakin and Padmae aren't exactly good role models when it comes to romance as their love basically destroys the Republic....

The CG hasn't aged well, the acting is pretty meh all around (Excluding the obvious: Obi-Wan, Dooku, Palpitine, etc...), there's a ton of sandy areas that don't look very appealing, the story brings up a lot of thing that aren't really explained (Like who's Master Syfo Diaz?) inside the movie (A similar problem TFA had), etc...

Yeah George dropped the ball with explaining Sifo-Dyas. A casual watcher could be forgiven for thinking Dooku made him up.

I originally thought Count Dooku made him up, and I think I still believe that Count Dooku made him up.

What wookipedia has to say about it:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sifo-Dyas

Seems he was introduced in "the clone wars" to fix the plot hole.

It simply seems that failure is the only option for the First order.
They kill Solo, but the rest of their actions seem futile.

Ultimately I suppose it is if we're following typical movie direction.

The skill is kind of innate in force users, more so in Star Wars protagonists, it's harnessing it that requires learning.

Ok, I believe there is too much harnessing and too little learning.
That sums up my opinion.

Fair. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Anyone notice that the Empire in Rebels has become very reminiscent of the Soviet Union? It's pursuing a policy of industrialization in the Outer Rim to the point where people are starving because agriculture isn't efficient enough to feed them and they're being overworked. The Empire is moving people who were formerly farmers around on these worlds to get them to work in mines and factories. The Empire even refers to its outer rim industrialization as a five year plan.

I thought they use red lightsabers because Hitler had red glowing eyes but he used contacts to cover them up?

No commies in ma Star Wars REEEE.

But really I'm talking about specific aspects of their economic policies. It seems that in the new canon the Empire has a command economy.

Could be that the need for the resources to build the Death Star played a part?
The shortage of some materials is what led Thrawn to learn of the Death Star's construction.

Perhaps they're both.
What if Palpatine was a clone of Hitler and Lenin, an attempt to make an ideological neutral leader?
And thus they created a lying, backstabbing, ugly, megalomaniac being that's also a poor leader.
They called it a "politician".

My Theory: After Anakin kills Obi-Wan he sees Palpatine's ship lands and goes meets him, Palpatine congratulates Anakin for killing Obi-Wan and gives him a red lightsaber. But Anakin wanting to become Emperor strikes Palpatine down with both lightsabers and kills him in the process and since Palpatine is dead Anakin becomes the new Emperor of the Galactic Empire.

I'm pretty sure Palpatine will kill Anakin first before he could do anything and also Palpatine knows when someone is about to betray him.

You sure about that? Because I am pretty sure Papa Palpatine didn't know Vader would throw him down the Death Star shaft.
