I'm not so sure. This device would have a plethora of applications in both server and home use. The ability to combine RAID 0 with other methods of RAID means that you can get high speed, high capacity data storage without sacrificing the impressive reliability that some higher RAID levels offer. For home users, the device will also simplify cabling and help with cable management, in addition to the improved speed.

Already exists. Iirc Zoe Quinn actually has a processor implanted in the back of her hand.


However, playing Star Citizen on my eyes wouldn't mean much, because our eyes can only see 480p30 anyway. I want it streamed right into my brain. Hell cut out the middleman, stream it right into my memory so I can remember all the good times I had playing it without actually having to play it first.

Update: Took apart the PS3 (Fat) from its case and reconnected all peices excluding sound card and Blueray DVD Rom which will be extended to fit into a drive bay. Also prepping the case for new Plexiglas frontal panel as well as mounting four 80mm fans on the case which will be linked to a thermostat in line with the main PS3 fan. Going to hit up a parts store for Neon tubes and other wiring gear for extending the ribbon for the DVD Rom. Also starting to drill part holes in the case. I will post pictures after working on it again tomorrow.

On other news when my paycheck arrives I will finally get to finish the computer build. Decided to skimp out on a monitor for now and just run it on my tv.

Right, so I finished opening and then mounting a hard drive on my wall.

It's "attached" via three thumbtacks. And by "attached" I mean hanging so loosely that if you move it a quarter of an inch it falls off. But w/e.

Once I buy my new monitor, I will not only be able to game at 2560x1080 regularly, but I'll also be able to game at 4480x1080.

And 4540x768.

So, I've been thinking should I go with another 7870 or just buy a newer gen card.
