Feasible = being able to max Arma III at 120+ fps

Dual Titan Blacks aren't exactly feasible for most gamers.

Chromium isn't, but Chrome is.

As far as Chromium goes I've seen some good Chromium mods (the now defunct Rockmelt browser being one of those I just enjoyed using) but I don't enjoy the original Chromium.

You're suggesting spending over 2000 dollars on two video graphics cards just to play a game.

Remind me again how is it economically feasible for most gamers?

Here's the functional differences between chrome and chromium:

-Chromium has less bugs sometimes
-Chromium has more bugs sometimes
-Chromium has a new icon

That's it.

I never suggested that.

Crysis 3 is renowned as one of the most hardware intensive games to date.

Using it as a benchmark for the feasibility of gaming would be like using a Venom GT as the standard for the minimum legal speed on US roads.

To give you some perspective, the older card had a 32-bit memory bus, and this was considered reasonably high end.

The new card has a 1024-bit memory bus. This means and handful of things that can basically summed up in "We're gonna see some serious shit."

Alrighty then. Good to know. :lol2:

what? hell no

Basically I wrote a program that filters out all the useless crap from ipconfig and then gives you the information you actually need. It also does it a helluva lot quicker, because double clicking on a single .exe is a lot faster than opening cmd/CON and typing in commands.

Why would anyone keep DOS around except for a business which uses legacy hardware which drivers only came with DOS is my question.

If you want to become a pro at using command lines, either run FreeBSD or install Slackware without a GUI.

So I was curious and went to see what would DOS be used today.

The camp falls on three fields:

legacy bus software, classic DOS games, and embedded systems based on an ArsTechnica interview with Jim Hall, the guy who came up with FreeDOS:

http://arstechnica.com/information-tech ... me-people/

Needless to say, I'm surprised it is still alive and going.
