I just started playing Pokémon Sword after taking a hiatus from the franchise. The last generation I played before this one were the Sinnoh games.

I heard a lot of criticisms about Gen 8, but I'm enjoying it.

I didn't touch Gen 5 because I didn't like the designs of many of the new mons, especially the starters. Though in retrospect, I wish I still gave the generation a chance, and I have kinda gotten over the designs now.

I had lost interest in the franchise entirely by the time Gen 6 was released.

VIC2: I love VIC2, and I can't wait for VIC3 to release. I'm currently on a save as the Netherlands and I colonized some of South America, most of Indonesia and Panama. I can't colonize unclaimed land though, since the Dutch have low colonial power.

Still playing Star Trek Online. The new Terran Gambit episode has started out strong with one hell of a cliffhanger. I never saw it coming! The new TFO, Operation Wolf, is pretty fun too.

I still play AdventureQuest 3D as well. Gonna need a new bank vault soon though. My bank and inventory are full!

Gen 5 was the series I first got my taste of Pokémon, and it was good fun.
I personally liked the designs of that Gen, with the Snivy evolution line and Zebstrika being some of my favourites.

I play online games mostly, Cartoon Strike is one of my favs. I play games here https://www.juegos.monster/animal-games-category/ .There are hundreds of games on every taste and I can play these games even at work to kill long working hours. Great way to heva some fun and improve gaming skills.

Fallout 4, including Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka-World. I intend to try out at least the Service Rifle mod, maybe Disable Minutemen's Annoying Quests, too (because I'm the General, not an errand boy—Garvey can kiss my power-armored ass).
