Recently I bought A Hat in Time after literally five years of following it in its development and wanting it and two years of its release. The feeling of satisfaction of finally getting a game is great.
I also recently got back to playing Minecraft after a few years of hiatus. I'm pretty terribly out of shape but I'll try to learn how to play with what has been added since.

In addition, I play a lot of Stellaris in my free time. I play a few retro games sometimes as well.

It's odd because of the sheer number and variety of games out there. There are two possibilities: either your standards are far too high, or your search just hasn't been broad enough.

You just need to browse through the Steam catalog to get an idea of the variety. That's not even counting the very vibrant emulation scene out there, that uses emulators to play the many hundreds of games from old games consoles.

Ehh, hopefully not those old platformers, I hated those as a kid.

I do not have the reflexes, so most games just frustrate me.
