I started a new save for the expansion pack. Despite the fact it propably wasn't neccessary. I think I thought it might've added some lower level quest for which I might've been overleveled already. I guess "New Game: Expansion pack only" would've been an option too.

'14000000XP in Herblore' (1k overloads for boss hunting)
'I defeated the Queen Black Dragon 13 times' (average of 257k loot each kill)
'I defeated the Queen Black Dragon 6 times'
'Queen Black dragon 16 times'
Queen... on and on; ~51m made this week from grinding QBD (when I have the time to game)

and also... in between kills (preparing potions and all)... constantly opening up NationStates forums (while prep pots at the same time for QBDs)... stalking... my favourite posters over @NationStates

Doing the Hoxton Breakout on Overkill about four times a day gets tiresome, but it also makes you very rich and very close to going infamous.

99, doing Overloads meant Herblore going up also at the same time, cause I need Overloads and Super antifire potions for bosshunting Queen Black Dragon pretty much (that's where the money is nowadays sadly... skilling and such from back in the day are terrible money these days)

I don't know if you remember things like chopping magic logs, yew logs, etc. (from back in 2005-2007), but for example killing QBD is around 3.5-5m per hour (a Bond - an item that can allow players to get membership without paying anything at all - is worth around 10m each... so that's free membership for half a month from more or less 2 hours to 3 hours of doing Queen Black Dragon per day). So that's what I usually do every week (when I can be online much). Get that 2-3 hours kill per day at least (steady 7-15m gold per day). Over time the gold add up (50-90m per week, 200-270m per month)

meanwhile, the best skilling methods (tanning dragonhides, chopping elder logs, etc.) are 1m per hour max.. so yeah... not gonna chop yew logs (as Liberty and Alderney said earlier)

but yeah, bossing is very easy money, and I want to milk QBD dry before she's not as profitable any longer (she was 5-8m per hour up to last year... then dropping real bad to 3.5-5m profit per hour. What's your character display name bro, we can add one another up as friends; I dunno, it'd be cool to have NS players on friends list I suppose

and I am planning to get back to NationStates (I will eventually be bored of Runescape again), so yeah, it's good to still be able to stalk forum posts of some NationStates posters (posting history thank you)

What I have noticed is there's something NationStates has that the majority of other internet 'games' (or communities) lack. I don't know what, it's hard to describe, but this something (that NS has) you can see all round Gameplay, Roleplay, General, etc. (not just restricted to one community of NS), and it's something that always makes me want to go back to browsing things over here

The fact that we can now build stuff over in-game through dispatches and in-game factbooks is even better, many interesting stuff to read (was reading ur factbook earlier ) when I am afk skilling on Runescape or casually chatting with mates/reading/watching TVs IRL

Yeah, I used to mostly focus on combat, range, and magic by killing Blue and Red dragons, and then collecting their hides and bones for money and prayer boost. I don't exactly remember the hourly rate of gold earning, because it has been quite a long time since I last played RS, but I remember earning about 150m in a week or two.

As for Herblore, I gave up training it at level 60, because the cost was immense, and I spent most of my money on armour, runes, and arrows.

I'd tell you my name, but, honestly, I am too busy with RL activities for me to focus on playing RS. However, when I have time, I might go back to playing it, and I'll remember your post, and tell you my name, so we can play together.
