Yeah, Xenology is an awesome book, I made it required reading for my Ordo Xenos Dark Heresy campaign

(though not until a point in the campaign where they'd actually have access to such knowledge, of course)

Did anyone here play Dark Elves in 6th, 7th or 8th edition of WFB? Pondering on buying an army a wondering what they're like. Incidentally, anyone looking for a flesh tearers army?

I did, they were great fun. Sorceresses could dish out huge numbers of casting dice and sacrifice people for more, Cold One Knights were devastating if they didn't hang around doing nothing, and War Hydras were absolutely brutal.

I did a Witch Elves deathstar army, that unit shredded absolutely anything but couldn't stand up to taking any punishment in return. I also remember one time my Hellebron destroyed a castle, that was fun.

yeah think thats what the battle tech game is like though ive not played it myself.

Its coming to steam early access, though does not have adate listed yet.

If those Titan sets are 8mm, I'm pretty sure you can use 6mm tanks and infantry as support without too much trouble.
