Necrons will be the antagonists in the Mechanicus video game.

I like how most Tech-Priests are more pre-occupied with studying the shiny, glowing object than the scimitar-wielding robot warriors charging at them.

Know better? What better thing is there to know than what's in a tomb world?

First let us begin with what we know is in a tomb world. We know that vast amounts of comatose Necrons are standard issue in those ancient subterranean complexes, we also know that those vast amounts of Necrons will inevitably wake up once people decide to go sightseeing in those crypts in order to find out if there's any interesting hardware to be had.

I'd still love to see a book of Mechanicus and Necrons where all the junior Mechanicus are thrilled and excited by the Necron technology, but a higher ranking Magos is utterly horrified, since he's old and knowledgeable enough to be aware just how dangerous technology is (since though it isn't so well known, one of the primary duties of the Mechanicus is the containment of dangerous technology of which there is a LOT because of the nature of machine spirits)

I just spontaneously had an idea for a Space Marine chapter with a geneseed defect that gives them some emotional instability and something like Tourette's, so that when they keep saying their thoughts and feelings out loud.
I just imagined that every time one of their brothers dies they verbally go through the 5 stages of grief in about 2-3 seconds.

I'm thinking of making a militarium tempestus army allied with the new plastic sisters with a mixed gender army of scions as well, will be so much fun to finally play 40K again IRL.

Scions are a good one for that, thanks to the masks. I just made my tank army all-female since there weren't any crew models.

These are the pics i saw:

Well the bodies are still a bit bulky, but the heads are decent imo

These ones have some bigger heads which seem a bit more proportionate

I know actual armour looks pretty much the same on women as it does men though but still women are for the most part a bit smoll next to men, would be cool to see some properly made female miniatures done by someone, but i think they look fine like this if you wanted to go something like this for your mixed army.

Near certain these were the heads used:

That website seems to have a bunch of female conversion pieces.

Here's the leader of my Vostroyan 169th Armoured regiment:

At some point I'm gonna convert a Stormlord into a mobile command centre for her, replacing the rear troop bay with an enclosed (removable roof) strategium. At least, I'll try.

According to a new Carcharodon book the Terran marines Corax exiled are still alive, and call them selves the Ashen Claws, their also renegades but rarely leave their home system, I think it's implied the Carcharodons are a loyalist offshoot of them, since they both refer to someone calledThe forgotten one
It's sort of funny how the Raven Guard are supposed to have a really fucked up geneseed but have more known successors than the Iron Hands.

As I recall, it was because they were too close to Horus, since Horus led the Raven Guard until Corax was found, and then when Corax started taking their organisation and tactics in his own direction Horus got all snitty and when it became clear Corax wasn't going to do things his way he started ordering the Raven Guard into horrendous combat situations trying to get them brutally killed out of spite, and he was backed up in this by Perturabo. Corax and Perty came to blows, broken up by Russ.

Kind of makes you think that if more people had listened to Corax, they might have seen the Heresy coming.
