That's not too shabby. I would recommend making it less smooth, but that would risk ruining tyre rotund look.

I want it to look like a scavenged object had legs and arms bolted to it, some patches over holes, and it was declared combat-ready. The back has more gribbly bitz though. There's a hatch and some exhaust pipes. And the seam around the ball has a series of bolts, they just don't show up in this image much. And I think the empty surfaces will look better once I sponge on some brown and silver for wear.

There's a guy on Beasts of War who has a cool blue army. I thought I'd make a detachment of my army emulate his.

Eventually, I want to run an allied detachment for each Clan. This model will be part of a Deathskulls detachment with a Big Mek, more kans, burna boyz, shoota boyz in a trukk, a dakkajet, and a grot mob. It's intended to consist of vehicles that are kitbashed or scratch-built.

I'll be running Grukk's Rippin' Krew for Goffs. Evil Suns will consist of bikes, trukk boyz, and probably a Nob Mob with another Big Mek in a Battlewagon, plus a looted wagon. Bad Moons will be represented by Meganobs and a warboss in mega armor in a battlewagon, a Deff dread, a dakkajet, and up-armored trukk boyz. My main army will probably tend toward Snakebites and more Goffs, or else a custom clan.

I've heard there's rumours floating around that the faction list will expand later, so hopefully there'll be Chaos and Guard and whatnot later on.

Maybe this time, we'll even get Sisters of Battle.

Not sure how I feel about all the other factions being DLC though... I wonder how much that's going to cost us per DLC package?

I loved it. It made DoW an RTS, not a squad-based RPG.

As someone commented on the Youtube video, when you have corpses falling from the sky and erupting volcanoes, Chaos is pretty much confirmed.

Yeah, well, not as the faction, otherwise it would've been announced already.

Not going to pay €23405738976,- for a 5-unit faction (because let's face it, chances are DLC will be exactly that) on launch day.
