Never. It's honestly rather suprising they even got a forge world set with the increasing focus on the kiddie market GW has had going on for years. Should finally make the mold for the LE one and cast my own.

Unconvincing.

Except, perhaps, the very ending, Chaos in this game seemed weak and pathetic.

Besides, when Chaos speaks, it shouldn't be just some cartoon villain-like voice.
Tone and words should be so evil, that it rapes your mind by mere listening.

And there wasn't enough dakka.

Considering an opening RP to my Imperium of Mankind nation which is a sub-sector stranded in NS Space after a warp-storm brought it here from the WH40K universe. I want it to be somewhere where I control the setting, but it needs to be sufficiently out of the way that it doesn't immediately become an uncontrollable first contact. Like, there's still the obvs rampant xenophobia and killmurderness, so any 'suddenly this nation's ship in our systems' would result in maximal firepower and war and crushing of the Telsteinians by a coalition of established nations which aren't the IoM.

So, I'm considering an Inquisitorial Operation to an old abandoned Inquisition base on a moon somewhere, or in an asteroid, or on a space station. Main aim is to locate and retrieve an artifact of some description which is valuable to the Inquisition. Somehow they run into some trouble - whether Chaos or possibly xenos of a kind, and a distress call is released after they're stranded, which will hopefully be answered by a small detachment of another nation (or multiple thereof). Being somewhat pragmatic, the Inquisitor in charge either accepts or tries to elicit their help in recovering the artifact.

This gives me a chance to introduce and provide characterisation to some characters, and the culture and situation of my nation, meet some dirty furriners, and also have it in a controlled environment that doesn't invite a knee-jerk 'kill maim burn' response from the societal pressures of the Imperium. Thoughts?

So discovered that 30K has an IG style army called the Imperial Militia, not as powerful as the Auxilia Solar but you can go really fluffy with the army.

Looking into it but it may convince me to invest in 30K.

From Sad Panda on Dakkadakka

False rumors about "all" the GDs being finished are oddly persistent.

While the LoC was finished only recently (and is not in this box), the design team did start off this larger project with some smaller AoS Beastmen minions (technically Birdmen, I suppose) of Tzeentch. Watch out for those.

Guy has 100% accuracy on everything he's been saying so far, so this is what's coming for Tzeentch.

This boxed game, too.

The working title in the studio is or was Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower.

Will it be the final product name? I don't know.

The concept is a dungeon crawl in an ever-changing labyrinth of Tzeentch, slaying Horrors (that just turn into more, smaller Horrors) and other creatures of Tzeentch.

Anniversary Marine up on the site as well. €25,- isn't all that much in comparison to some of the other miniatures, I guess. I won't be getting it, though.

I don't know if I'll get one or not. It's pretty cool, but 25€ for a plastic mini is a bit rich. If it was metal the choice would be easier.

Bought the 25th Anniversary one. Probably won't get this one.

It apparently contains some form of the Index Astartes as well.

Index Astartes will be a separate release.

That is just disgusting. Looks like the table top gaming community has more problems than just the occasional gamer with a poor sense of personal hygiene.

Yeah, that one has been circulating quite widely recently. Highlights some disgusting stuff but I'm a bit tired of the rhetoric that tries to paint this as a case of shared blame. Everyone is responsible for their own actions, and their own actions only. More over, claiming sexism and/or sexual harassement equals terrorism is frankly speaking asinine. Disgusting? Yes. Illegal? Often. Terrorism? No.
