Speaking of 'Crons, mate of mine is just getting into 40K and has been building an army of 'em.

We've decided to do a Combat Patrol game (both having limited amount of models) with these rules.

This is how my army is shaping up.

Platoon HQ - 40pts
-Meltabomb (Commander)
-Boltgun (Commander)
-2x Sniper Rifles

3x Infantry Squads - 213pts (71pts each)
-Meltabomb (sarge)
-Boltgun (sarge)
-Autocannon
-Flamer

Heavy Weapons Squad - 90pts
-3x Missile Launchers

Salamander Scout - 55pts

TOTAL: 398pts

I'm starting to get interested into the franchise due to epic dorfs and six months later they literally nuke the entirety of the beautiful setting and turn it into "HURR MEDIEVAL SPEESSTESHIUNS N SWORD SPEES MUHREENS" Did we get the income/profit report yet? Is AoS making more money than WHFB did? Are there human creatures who unironically think nuking the old WHFB universe was a good idea?

Bonus: I've heard GW is raising prices again?

Indubitably. There's probably some 13 year old out there (the kind often ridiculed as being the main audience for spess mehreens) who think AoS is totally cool and thinks Sigmarines - excuse me, Stormcast Eternals are cool.

I would too if only their dwarves were not so ugly, they look like someone born without a brain and it ruins the neatness of the armors for me. They should just cover the faces of all models with full helmets and not bother to make those half-molten expressions.

Indubitably. There's probably some 13 year old out there (the kind often ridiculed as being the main audience for spess mehreens) who think AoS is totally cool and thinks Sigmarines - excuse me, (Image)Stormcast Eternals(Image) are cool.

13 y/o here, space marines are cool in their own context, but dwarves are cooler imho. No point in destroying a perfect fantasy setting.

Don't know much about the Jericho Reach.

The idea is that the unit's homeworld is a somewhat boggy Frontier World with a 1940s tech base (an Ireland-Canada bastard child isn't THAT far off) and an over-reliance on aircraft as the main form of transport (aka Crimson Skies)
