Is a loyalist primarch that is brought back in place of Roboute Guilliman, how do you think he fares at ruling the Imperium in the 41st Millennium.

If Dorn still lives he'd become a traitor I feel.

Nah it would be the scenario where like Guilliman, Perty was in stasis, and brought back in the same fashion, so Dorn and all the others are gone etc at this time

Just think it would be an interesting scenario, Pety is incredibly ruthless and pragmatic from the bits i know of him, i honestly think he might do a good job at running the imperium considering the state its in.

Saw a comment about it on reddit and thought it might make a good convo on here.

GW wins the Biggest Meat Grinder in all of Fiction Award.

Bonus Question: Are Ultramarines easier to paint than other Chapters?

It would be brutal as fuck though that is the norm in 40k anyway, but im sure perty can make it worse

For some reason the head with the Adrian helmet looks like something I suddenly really want from 40k. Imagine an imperial guard unit with Adrian helmets that have aquilas? Hell yes.

Might be tricky sculpting it onto such a helmet if I got it though. Would need plenty of green stuff.

I think those bodies with the Adrian + gasmask version would make for a very stylish Death Korps of Krieg.

Should they release the Space Frenchies, I think I will have no choice but to start my seventh Astra Militarum regiment (I already have Valhallans, Catachans, Cadians, Scions, Tallarns and will buy their Raumjaegers to use as Armaggedon Steel Legion.) and use them as Vostroyans.

Goddamn you Imperial Guard, you and your money-devouring awesomeness. >:(

Imperial Guard sure do have that rule of cool sorted. And goddamn, you have just about all of them don't you? Only need to get some Mordians (Victoria Miniatures got your back there) and those guys with the pith helmets and you have them all,

Pretty much. I won't start Mordians, but I will get British Zulu War infantry from the Perries and Warlord Games and field them as Pretorians (the ones with the pith helmets) with the Mordian special rules...and yeah, then I'll have each and every regiment in the codex. LUCKILY FOR ME they don't come with unique vehicles and tanks etc.

That would be unlucky. Fortunately only the Death Korps have unique vehicles.

So I am sort of dipping back into 40K in the form of running the Rogue Trader RPG in less than two weeks' time.

If it wasn't for prep time and only a couple of people in the group have any knowledge of the 40K setting I'd be tempted to set it in the Sabbat Worlds. Though I'm gonna cheat and start with the Forsaken Bounty and Dark Frontier adventures.

As far as I understand it, the Death Korps of Krieg is spiritually fueled by an extreme variant of classic Catholic guilt and there is not a single confessional chair left in the whole goddamn Imperium.
