Yep. That makes me a little concerned for the Griffon, Colossus, and Medusa being in the codex. I really want a colossus kit.

Well, that would make sense. Hopefully all the current artillery choices remain in the new book.

I've also heard that the FW hydra has always suffered from quality issues, or has had them recently. Maybe the molds are getting worn out?

Is it acceptable to post a Table Top warhammer 40k Army list for criticism ? I plan on rolling my IG to a tournament and want some critic on a list I have that works fairly well.

There was. Its been discontinued since before I starting playing in '08.

There was. Its been discontinued since before I starting playing in '08.


Yeah, remember now...there was a metal Griffon model with a couple of crewmen as a conversion kit for the Chimera.

Not quite sure what you mean. Those Four Vet Squads are all scoring. Too few ?

That seems like a lot, and they do have carapace armor, but its only 40 scoring bodes.

I wouldn't really feel comfortable with that. Get some more boots on the ground! Double the amount of bodies on the field!

Vendettas, Vets, etc.

Looks near standard for competitive Guard.

Haven't seen anyone use a Vulture since....2004 IIRC in a White Dwarf article.

I could drop off the Colossus and throw an Infantry platoon into the Mix. Drop off the MoO from the CCS to give points for weapon upgrades... Toss the Infantry Squads in Vendetta's for expendable drop troops to either take or contest an objective... not sure what i'd do with the PCS

I have the most updated Data Sheet for the Vulture for Sixth Edition... I find it funny to gun down blobs of Necron Warriors so they can't stand up. Not to mention I can throw ungodly amounts of fire out off those Chimeras.

Completely scrap the 4 vet squads. Get a regular inf platoon(s, if you have the models) with spec weapons squads in Chimeras. Bury them under a sea of guardsmen.

See I have never been a fan of normal Guardsmen... Mainly because they get insta-gibbed by practically everything. If I were to run normal Guardsmen I would take three platoons with some Conscripts with 'Send in the Next Wave ! ' for lolz. Plus I have an uncanny knack to roll three's when shooting ... I use blob guard since their entire purpose is to act as one giant meat shield for my CSM.

And the Manticore is good for Nid killing.
