So basically Skyrim but as an ork. And the basic way of getting cash is to wander around town beating up other orks randomly.

I approve. I wholeheartedly approve.

Thinking about it more, it might be fun do something like Skyrim, as an ork, on Armageddon. That way you have the excuse of just wandering around down doing races and fighting other orks and so on, but then there would also be story missions where you go to the various hive cities and give those humies a good krumpin. Lots of biomes there too: radiated wastelands, hive cities, dense jungles... Oh, and the final boss mission is either against Ghazgul or Commissar Yarrick.

Yeah, oddly orks about the only race to allow the freedom to advance on your merits that would be required for the progression inherant in such a game.

Maybe instead of XP you get waaagh points to spend on making either you or your gear bigger and meaner.

Of course with it being orky you have to allow for things to go horribly but spectacularly wrong for the player. Like say the random chance of surviving a visit to a pain boy with original features intact.

I'm actually considering making the Resolute Storm an Imperial Fists chapter instead of the Ultramarines which I rolled. Granted that means having to rewrite a chunk of the backstory but who doesn't rewrite backstories?

Video recommendations on Imperial Fists lore would be appreciated.

It looks like Calgar and Abbadon are probably gonna fight in Vigilus Ablaze.

I hope Cawl has some ice ready. There is no way Calgar is coming clean, and there is no way Gman's not gonna get another migraine from this campaign.

D'aaaaw, how cute. The Chaos Marine in the lower right is such a big Abaddon fanboy that he's actually cosplaying as him.

Also, dude on the left: Do all Chaos Legions get Dark Apostles now?

Dark Apostles were already a thing for CSM in general (and not just Word Bearers) since 6th edition, off the top of my head (that's when the Dark Vengeance starter set with Dark Angels vs Chaos released, right?).

He's such a lousy general, he managed to literally divide the Imperium and expand the Eye of Terror significantly, while commanding what is the largest host of Traitors since the Horus Heresy.
