They're still heresy but not everything heretical was written by Ward and vice versa.

So FW finally released beta rules for all the Custodes stuff...very interested. I'm really liking the aquilon terminators. They are cool looking and seem to have good rules. They are pricey though. I would be hesitant to throw a unit of boyz (orks) at an aquilon squad...I think they would tear mah boyz to shreds.

The proportions and the likes are generally a lot better on Primaris marines. They also have the benefit of actually being taller than 'regular people', meaning they actually look big.

Right so there is one thing in BFG II that is annoying me.

Spoilers to do with the Eldar:

So if you go down the route to have an alliance with the Eldar (i wanted to recreate what i did in the first game), and you help defend their craftworld against the Inquisitor and his fleet, the Eldar fleets are still hostile and continue to invade your territory.

I finished that battle to defend the craftworld and the system i fought it in, had three eldar fleets that i had to fight after that mission and proceeded to lose the campaign because i stood no chance of winning. So now i have to load back to the save before that battle, systematically slaughter all the eldar in that sector, then go to the system, fight that battle and then still have the Eldar attack me in the future.

Should have made more saves and killed them instead of helping them, because that is just broken.

Yeah, the original Space Marines looked oddly normal-sized for the fuckmongus super-soldiers they're supposed to be.

Yes, the super super soldiers look very aesthetic don't they. Yet, the signs of conflict between them and the super soldiers worry me greatly. Theres no time to be infighting when the end times are coming. That goes for the stupid Inquisition as well. Won't be surprised if Gulliman decides to put them in their place.

Yeah the Primaris look amazing no arguments there.
As for the inquisition they are so corrupt that Gman might have to limit any interference so as to avoid a civil war and considering that he won't have Magnus to banish them all to the warp it could be a very long war.

For that alone, I always liked the Chadmarines.

THERE, I SAID IT.

... Would have preferred it if Chaos had fielded them first though. Storywise it makes more sense; Fabius Bile definitely could have concocted something like that up, and it would have been just that extra little bit of "Oh no!" during the fall of Cadia.
