I've once again researched the alien capture device in XCOM: Enemy Unknown, but I've become so efficient at dispatching any enemy alien within a turn of its reveal that I never have a chance to use it. Almost a dozen supposedly independent gaming news sites posted almost identical articles saying that "gaming is dead" and "gamers need a new identity", alongside "rampant misogyny and sexism in the gaming community" which "killed gaming".

Ugh.

Basically the idea is that because these articles were more or less the same between unaffiliated news places withing minutes of each other, that somehow all of these news articles are answering to the same thing. Which, of course, means that they're corrupt pieces of shit.
