I'm not particularly surprised. It's not something I saw being your thing. I dig it, though.

Maybe you can check out The Bug, though. I heard a bit and it sounds quite a bit different. Still an intriguing collaboration nonetheless.

Yeah. I'm actually gonna check out some of their stuff now; anything even remotely related to dancehall has my interest. :p

This is some cool stuff, dark quasi-bluegrass sounding guitars.

It would appear that Boston is a popular dad rock band among my teachers that play music in class. I've heard More Than A Feeling more times than I can count.

Not that I'm complaining, though, it's a great song.

Some of my favorite bands commonly combine electronic music with rock/acoustic music. I don't know why, but the combination is so ideal. It takes my favorite parts of both genre groups and uses them, leaving out exactly what I dislike.

I've been in love with this for ages now. The guitar solo from 4:30 onward is heavenly.

Besides the existential nonsense and/or voices from documentaries explaining totally irrelevant things, Azedia is one of my favorite bands ever. Which is a lot to say in my context, since I listen to a lot of things. :P

I've listened to 34 albums (not including EPs) already from this year, but I still have at least 20 more that I'm interested in. >_<
I could just fly through them but I try to include a little review when I put them on my RYM list, and sometimes those things can take like an hour, which makes flying through them a not-so-easy process; yay for making stuff more complicated then is has to be! :p

I think I'll rate them and just write the reviews and finalize my list after Christmas, even though my usual goal is to have them done by then.

I always forget how to order my albums by year, and I'm a bit behind, so I don't know how much I've listened to...

Edit: Figured it out. I have...30. Kinda lackluster for me.

Been a bit of a down year for me too in terms of volume. Only 23 rated so far, though there are several I plan to cram in before years' end.

Holy this, this is way better than it should be. I'm DIGGING THIS SONG WHAT THE HELL.

Looks like someone from the band Holy Fuck is who is responsible for it. Honestly not surprised with a band name like that (I know them, and they're pretty good)

Not sure why I'm still trying, but at least I don't hate this new Logic song.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman
