So I listened to an Emerson, Lake & Palmer album. Their first one. Honestly I don't get the appeal. It's pretty meh to me. Only song I like is Lucky One. The rest feels like what I despise about certain types of progressive rock, where it just sounds like a chaotic mess for the sake of a chaotic mess.

Ayy I definitely hear some secret Blur bleeding through in that 2nd one.

Recently got through the longest single track I have ever listed to all the way through.

Patricia Taxxon - Dance Odyssey. Exactly 40 minutes, beating my previous record (Patrcia Taxxon - Winter Beats - 37 min) by 3 minutes.

Yeah it's never been about geography; the only criteria is that the country's national broadcaster needs to be a member of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union). But as far as I know the Australian broadcaster isn't in the EBU so I guess that rule doesn't mean anything anymore...

So I listened to 13 albums on the 22nd. No EP's. All albums. Removed a bunch, too, to make my backlog easier since some weren't really worth my time.

Feels like my old music times. Because holy shit that's a lot. This is what time off is doing for me. Today was rainy so I didn't do yard work like I've been doing.

Well, my backlog is finally becoming a lot closer to being done during this time off I have, so there's that.

Edit: I've also listened to 3 so far today, and its 4 AM.

That's some serious musical endurance lol. I don't think I can listen to 13 albums in one day! That would be too much to digest and would wear me out.

So I did 12 on the 23rd I believe. Maybe 11. They were bigger albums, so.

I am almost caught up on my backlog finally, and then I'll stop going through so much shit at a time. I'm just doing all I can while I'm free.

I don't really listen to much rock, but what a great band Free were. Listening to Fire and Water I much prefer Paul Rodgers as a singer to Robert Plant, and Andy Fraser was such a good bass player.

I've recently been getting into Undertale soundtrack electro swing remixes (which is a real genre, somehow???). It sounds terrible, but is surprisingly good, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like swing and hasn't played Undertale.

This has to be one of the weirdest songs I've heard recently. For the first 4 minutes it's pretty much like the whole album before it, pretty basic folky stuff, but from 4:20 forwards it starts getting more and more drum'n'bass. At roughly 8 minutes it's full on folk drum'n'bass (or drum'n'bass folk?) chaos. Weird, chaotic, pretty wtf.

Can someone try to ID the song that plays just before the end of the video (8:51), over the test card?
