I'd say my country has pretty progressive, rebellious people and I'd think this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leopt__ATR0 would do well for them.

They've already released a promo single, Ball and Chain, a protest song against the Guantanamo prison.

I actually thought it would be called "Moving On", since that was the name of their latest tour.

Anyway I'm glad The Who is releasing an album about the World Health Organization. /s

I've been following one of those mashup YouTuber's recently. I typically hate mashup channels because they're half assed, but this guys honestly a genius with them and its insane how well they work a lot.

Somehow Foo Fighter's Walk and Earth, Wind, and Fire's September together works and becomes like the worlds most wholesome song

This just turns a pop artist into an Evenescance song

This ones just unacceptable but it works so well for some reason

The new Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds album is absolutely stunning. Its got a very beautifully crafted melancholic feeling. I honestly think it could be Album of the Year potential for me.

If you haven't already, you should listen to Starset. All of their songs and art are Beautiful. Very nice theme as well.

So I think I mentioned on here some time back about trying my hand at songwriting. I've not even really had time to play piano so no time to compose, and even if I did, I keep running into two problems:

1. I can't come up with a beat.
2. What little bit I've come up with in the line of lyrics sucks.

I listened to it once but I didn't enjoy it. Sounded pretty uninspired and unmemorable (aside from that annoying horn-like segment). At least the previous singles "Patience" and (especially) "Borderline" were kinda catchy.

I nearly forgot that this year is the 30th anniversary of Donna Summer’s Another Place and Time.

I have no idea how many 80s album anniversaries have slipped under my radar.

Maybe it’s because I am so obsessed with quality, which I think is not always a bad thing when you realise that MP3s are lossy, much like the JPG compression formula.
