Well, I would still put Imaginations above Beyond The Red Mirror (here's my rankings), but yes, I absolutely adore both albums. BTRM was my favorite album of 2015 and it's severely underrated.

I'm currently working on a giant ranking of all 150+ Bling Guardian songs. It's so fucking hard.

Close enough. For me it would be:
1. BTRM
2. Imaginations
3. ATEOT
4. Battalions
5. Tales From the Twilight World
6. Nightfall
7. Follow the Blind
8. A Twist in the Myth
9. Somewhere Far Beyond
10. A Night at the Opera

And every song? Sounds impossible. I've got some listed, but not all of them, and I'm really not sure about it.
1. The Throne
2. A Voice in the Dark
3. I'm Alive
4. Twilight of the Gods
5. And Then There Was Silence
6. Sacred Worlds
7. The Holy Grail
8. This Will Never End
9. Majesty
10. Battalions of Fear
11. Lost In the Twilight Hall
12. Altair 4
13. Into the Storm
14. Born in a Mourning Hall
15. The Ninth Wave
16. Sacred Mind
17. Imaginations From the Other Side
18. Somewhere Far Beyond
19. Distant Memories
20. Lionheart

Our rankings are pretty different, but that's to be expected. It's all great!

Anyways, glad to see And Then There Was Silence in your top five. It's their most epic composition, I think. Not necessarily their best overall song (though it certainly might be), but definitely most ambitious. My top five would also have to include Mirror Mirror.

LOL of course And Then There Was Silence was top 5! That whole song is 14 minutes of epicness! And as for Mirror Mirror...I like that song a lot, but the Top 20 is too competitive, and Mirror Mirror is in my opinion a little overrated...as for Nightfall in Middle Earth tracks, the next best is more likely Time Stands Still In the Iron Hill, then A Dark Passage...(ugh, but that doesn't include Nightfall...whatever.)
(You know, I should color-code that post by album so that I can get a better picture of where everything is.)

Interesting that you love ATTWS but still rank A Night At The Opera last.

We can agree on one thing though... A Dark Passage is super underrated! That song always gets me going and makes me smile, but I hardly ever hear any Blind Guardian fans talking about it. My other favorite song off Nightfall In Middle Earth is Noldor. That was one of the first songs that got me into the band, and the melodies still strike a special chord in my heart. And The Eldar might be where Hansi's vocal ability truly shines the most.

I didn't even think of Noldor! Never mind, Noldor is my second-favorite on Nightfall in Middle-Earth. Although I started off with Imaginations From the Other Side, I'm Alive, and The Script For My Requiem.

And yeah, even though And Then there Was Silence is amazing, only maybe half or so of the album is extremely memorable. Precious Jerusalem, Battlefield, The Soulforged, and And Then There Was Silence are amazing and Sadly Sings Destiny and Age of False Innocence are really catchy, but the other three songs on the album aren't memorable by Blind Guardian standards - with only four songs in the "amazing" category and three in the "not memorable" category, it's unbelievably amazing by normal music standards but not optimal by BG standards. XD

But at least we have ATTWS.

Early Pink Floyd is so underrated. It's pretty interesting what they did back then and I feel kind of sorry for Syd Barrett because of what happened to him.

Didn't expect to see PTK on there, but I definitely approve.

Expected Solstice and Kingston Wall. Hurriganes appear to be Finnish Rock, so that's not surprising either :p

The new GosT album is quite heavy. Who knew Synthwave/horror synth/electro house could get so heavy

Edit: Holy shit one of the literal lesser genre labels is black metal.

Interesting dark "ambient" by apparently the same guy behind Perturbator.

Also didn't realize the guy behind Perturbator had a history with black metal bands.

I would also like some advice on this. The squishy drug store plugs never do much for me.

They work well for me, but I'd rather have a turned down sound over semi muted sound with cheap drug store ear plugs. I bet a $100+ pair (And yes, I am thinking that high) sounds great.

Got a Wardruna ticket, but it cost $53 because of Ticketmaster fee bullshit.

Sure it was last Wednesday so "Just saw" isn't all that accurate

Just before the show started I realized I had forgot earplugs... I didn't hear all too well for the next two days, but it was worth it. In the future I will remember taking plugs with me.
