Ah yeah, jazz is one I typically can not get into. It bores me to death. Same with a lot of classical. Soul and funk I just rarely like period.

Personally I don't mind Jazz, at least what I have heard of it. But I dislike classical. There is something about it that annoys me, especially the loud/fast songs..

I love a bit of soul. Funk I can live without. The only jazz I like is the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack.

I found it strange how breakcore became quite popular among fans of metal and classical music. To me it's one of the most unlikely combinations.

Seems like a weird thing for metal fans to like specifically.

But to combine either of them with an electronic genre that would make your grandfather call it techno is a bit, uh, creative. In just a few short steps we went from rave music to opera singers and guitars glitching out. :lol2:

Without even acnknowledging the rather large amount of metal bands that explicitly integrate classical/orchestral/symphonic instruments into their music, many variants of metal have a lot in common with classical music even in terms of just general song structure and composition style. And both are very structured genres of music with little freewheeling/improvisation.

There is a video game based off of a Steven Wilson music video.

Apparently the director of the video had a part in it, and so did Steven Wilson. Trailers have the music you would expect them to have.

Oh my goodness~~~~

My favourite band of all time, SHAZNA is coming back!

I've been waiting for this moment, I thought it would never happen~ They are back I can't believe it!! I always looked up to Izam since I was a child, I've been listening to SHAZNA since I was not even 10 years old!

This is like a dream come true, I'm so happy I'm literally crying right now.

(and no one here has probably heard of this band.. But oh well, I'm off to go die of happiness now, bye)

I've always been fond of his vocal performance on "D.S." (a thinly-disguised song about the attorney who investigated him).

Grant Hart, the drummer/vocalist from Hüsker Dü and one of the band's main songwriters alongside frontman Bob Mould, has died. This is my favourite of the songs he wrote for the band.
