Their system of rating an album "The Best of the Year" seems to consist of "Oh, look, the latest Lady Gaga hit. BEST OF THE YEAR!". Obviously because it is the latest big name Taylor Swift album, it is the best country album of the year.
If I got a Grammy, I would be like "Should I really be honored about this?"

Nirvana definitely is king though.

Listen to their song "The Letterbomb", and you'll see what I mean.

I used to, man, I really did. Parachutes and A Rush... are masterpieces. But X&Y was nearly a total disaster (Swallowed By The Sea is one of a few exceptions), and, whilst Viva la Vida was better, it wasn't quite up to the standard of the first two albums. Admittedly I have heard Mylo Xyloto but I just don't expect good things from them any more. Which is a shame, because the mind who wrote Amsterdam is capable of so much more than, say, Fix You.

"Why would one want to not be weird? If you aren't weird then you are normal, and you know something about normal...it doesn't exist.

My first two Coldplay albums were Mylo Xyloto and A Rush of Blood to the Head, so I love them both. I will admit though, where Mylo Xyloto brings back some memories, A Rush... Is an emotional listening experience for me to such an extent that it's difficult for me to bring myself to listen to anything from it but only certain songs (sucks being a teenager at times, doesn't it). Parachutes and A Rush... are magical, but I really loved MX and Viva La Vida or Death and All his Friends too (haven't listened to X&Y yet, though I do have the Fix You EP, and I love it, especially "The World Turned Upside Down").
Guess you could say I'm a bit of a Coldplay fan.

I think each of their albums got better than the other. And they're new song is certainly promising for their future.
First song I heard was "Panic Station" by them on the radio, and I didn't like it. I picked on it. But I started to hear more of them and decided I actually liked them musically, and then it just grew from there and I started tolerating him.
Everyone's least favorite album by them seems to be their new one, but to be honest, I think that one is them at their finest. They seem more musically interesting and creative, and they feel like they hit a milestone with their sound. I personally find it to be their best. People just want them to sound the same. I like a band to evolve their sound and they're certainly doing that.

Too many names to remember.By new album you mean Neck Of The Woods as opposed to The Singles Collection, right? I love Neck Of The Woods. It's so good.

The one I heard that started to make me actually dig the band was The Royal We, I think. My dad played it and was like "Of course the radio cuts out all the cool parts". Think he heard it on the radio and realized he started to actually dig them. And so did I.By new album you mean Neck Of The Woods as opposed to The Singles Collection, right? Yeah. I don't really listen to Singles Collections.
But really, I re-listened to all of their albums recently, and each one seems to get better.
