The calculus is simple; the Empire together defeated the Aldmeri at full strength, and demographics favor men in replacing their losses. Can the Aldmeri take out a united Empire when the next war begins in a generation or two? No. Can the Aldmeri take out the provinces of the Empire, divided and quarreling?
