Especially lately.

Pinkie Apple Pie was a welcome surprise. The song was great, the events didn't feel rushed, and Pinkie Pie wasn't overdone for once.

And that face by Pinkie in the beginning! I don't know why that face struck me as funny but I couldn't stop laughing.

I want a pair.

Go to Berkeley, California. The only place I know where you are dead certain to find awesome bellbottoms.
I also have green and red. I love bellbottoms.

Thats a good drawing. I like her hair.
See, what this drawing does that a lot of other ones don't is it keeps the hair short on the front. This is how it is in the show. A lot of fan-made Dashie has her hair sticking way out in front, and I think it makes her look like a dude.

And I prefer Khakis and dress-pants.
Unlike Fancy Pants, I do wear pants. (keeping it MLP-relevant)

Welp, time to burn another heretic at the stake. I'll go get the giant ass wooden stake, someone else get the rope, torches, bundles of sticks, and kindling.

Aren't we supposed to let him appeal to a Church court, first?

Never, because he fills the role of "little brother." Get a group of girls together and any little brother that's within their realm becomes their slave. I'm of course going off of what I've seen in late 80s, early 90s family sitcom, but I assume that this is how it works.

I'd accept that if we were still in season 2, maybe 3. But I think we have gone far too long for this poor guy not to get ticked that he does all the busy work. While his friends are saving the world he is...oh, he is carrying bags...an, uh...sending letters. Awesome. Glad he sent that letter, god forbid it be late.

You see what I'm getting at?

Well he tried that before, and the Mane Six just laugh him off. Honestly I don't see any real development coming Spike's way. There's been many Spike episode in this series' run with no long term effect. Spike will forever and always will be their bitch.

That's what I would like to see change. Spike, while occasionally a prick see what I did there?, is a nice dude fundamentally. Why does he always get the short end of the stick?

He's second to last in that poll, kinda validates what I've said. :P

Spike is doom to forever be the show's punching bag.

You said he is no one's fave. There are clearly at least two people who have disproved that statement. Besides, on a poll where only 3 people voted Pinkie Pie, I'm not sure we can trust that the other categories weren't somehow inflated.

Spike is doom to forever be the show's punching bag.

I typed "Spike is" in the search bar. The first option was "Spike is best pony". The second option was "Spike is sad and kills himself".

Wil is right this time.

I want Spike to not be laughing stock of the Mane 6.

Then who would be there for comic relief?

But some of the things they (by they Mane 6) make him do aren't really for the benefit of the plot. Like in Rarity takes Manehatten, Spike carries all those bags and the writers don't go anywhere with it, no jokes, no plot development, no nothing. The plot wouldn't have changed if he had stayed home.
