Golden Oak Library: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic

Postby NERVUN » Sun Dec 15, 2013 10:37 pm

About that time again!

There are a few rules here:
1) Obscene posts are not funny. And if you seriously wouldn't say something in front of your parents/grandparents/clergy/significant other's parents, you shouldn't post it here. Just because a few moderators enjoy the thread and the show does not mean that when lines are crossed, folks won't get warned. Even if you WOULD say it -- don't.

2) Keep it on topic. It should always stay in the vicinity of MLP.

3) Your blog. It's not here. Neither is this the place to roleplay your fantasies.

4) Don't feed/taunt the trolls. Report them.

5) Don't taunt each other.

6) "Drunk" posts: there are still consequences if you're breaking the rules. This goes for any condition which may impair your ability to interact with others.

7) For Luna's sake, don't multiple quote something someone else said when it's warn-worthy. Smackings will result.

8) DON'T HOTLINK. Last thread someone accidentally got goatse because some folks don't like their bandwidth being stolen. Host the pics on photobcket, flickr or any other free photo site of your choice.

With that, let us resume with MOAR PONIES!

Here's the link to the Sugarcube Corner: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread, Carousel Boutique: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread Sweet Apple Acres: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread Cloudsdale: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread., Back in the Saddle Again, Canterlot Castle: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Everfree Forest: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread, The Crystal Empire: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread, Wonderbolt Academy: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread, Dodge Junction: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic thread, Cutie Mark Crusaders Ride Again! Can anyone tell me where the name "Golden Oaks" came from? People have told me it's canon, but I've never seen or heard it in the show.

Golden Oak Library? Is it that library that the Mane Six visited in the Season 3 Premiere to find more information on the Crystal Empire's past?

I'm not sure what sound I'm supposed to make if I'm d'awwing and laughing at the same time.

"D'awwhahaha!"

Eh, good enough.

That's apparently the name given to it in Hasbro's merchandise.

Also, fun fact: Faust said the tree was called "The Tree of Knowing" before it was hollowed out and turned into a library.

Huh. I would think a tree special enough to get a name like that wouldn't end up hollowed out...

Makes sense. I mean, the library is in a tree, and that tree is sort of Oakish, so...

And I've explained that your logic is completely contradictory. You claim Harshwhinny is some cruel, evil bitch. And yet you have Diamond and Silver hoisted on a damn pedestal cause apparently the last episode "Developed their character." I saw no evidence of that. I saw them do their typical bullying and insulting, and I saw Harshwhinny admit the CMC had an awesome act. So, explain.
