Marooned on an island in the middle of nowhere with Princess Cadance, what do I do?

Use my Boy Scout training alongside Cadance's intellect to figure out how to survive the island and possibly prepare to leave in case the island starts to run out of resources, while also figuring out how to signal and wait for rescue. Which shouldn't take to long seeing who her friends and family are.

Well, the main characters have to win. It's always like that. Although Flim and Flam did win, it was a hollow victory, because their cider ended up as bad. Let's accept that and move on.
