Merryweather cannot do shit. Anytime someone sends Merryweather at me, it fails and several bodies are left massacred on the road.

Correction, to you they cant do shit. To most people they can. I sent mercinaries after 3 people in a row.
2 died and one left the game cause they couldn't beat the merryweather mercenaries. The only people that can beat merryweather are past level 100.

First time I had them sent on me I was well under lvl 100 and didn't know what was going on, I just saw red circles coming and shot them from the roof of that motel in Sandy Shores

My secondary character has a kind of Kendrick Lamar background, he wasn't affiliated with any gang but both the Ballas and the Families constantly fucked with him. He tried to adapt as an independent criminal and was pretty good at it, but with no one to have his back, it wouldn't be long until he either ended up in prison or a coffin. He met the Syndicate and proved himself as being a useful enforcer, and eventually managed to use his new status to unite the innocent, non-gang affiliated people of South LS into a multi-cultured (we include the Mexican and Salvadoran people from East LS too) force that, with the backing of the Syndicate, would fight the other gangs, make South LS a safer place, and maybe make some cash in the process
