I need trade in my Vapid Bullet for another supercar. The cursed thing's top speed is too low and I inevitably get passed on the long straight shots. Any suggestions, gentlemen?

The Jester is nice, though I don't know how the speed compares to the Bullet. The Infernus (only supercar I won atm) is nice too; lower speed but it has a higher accel than the Bullet. The Voltic is a cheaper option; has a lower speed but the highest accel of the supercars.

If you've got money to spend, then definitely the Entity XF or Zentorno.

And on the subject of headsets, the one my dad was thinking about getting from work is pretty simple. Just like an earpiece one. Not really what I want in the long run (I'd prefer headphones with a mouth piece), but eh, it works.

Hmm...may just get one of those if or when mine breaks. I kind of like that it isn't a monstrosity.

No, not quite. The lower-end ones probably require slightly more expensive upgrades.

Maybe heave R* limit to 1-5 heist a day, or a heist every 1-2 hours; I don't want to have an unlimited amount of heists, as that would take the fun of GTA away, and then heists would become considerably boring. There should definitely be a limit so heists can stay interesting.

I think once every in-game week sounds reasonable.
Now, let's see if I can get an exact number:
48 minutes is a 24 hour in-game day, so multiply 48 by 7... that's 336 minutes, which according to Google is 5.6 hours. I think I did all of that right...
Yeah, I think that's reasonable; nice balance between in-game realism and relatively short real-life time, but long enough to keep people from spamming the heists.

I need to figure out how to keep mine from breaking off...the left earcup cracked where it attaches to the headband (which apparently is a common problem with my particular headset because of its weird design..wish I knew that before I got it). For all I know, the mic may not even be working (it's a built-in mic, on the side that cracked).

Agreed. Though, I'd like to see a level 25 minimum; last thing I want is to do a heist with a player with less machinery and/or experience.

Check if the slipstream is enabled before the race starts. Tail gate in the beginning to get an early boost, then work on avoiding the initial crashes or aggressive moves that establish who win's first.

I actually had that once, now that I think about it...There was a shoutout going on in front of me, so I slowed down and let them shoot each other. Cops died...And not a single bad guy died, I don't think. They hopped in their car and drove off....Felt like I should chase them down but I was in a nice car and I didn't want to damage the paint job

For the 2nd day in a row, I completely owned people with my 2nd character. One of them was 15 levels above me too, and I slaughtered him without even dying. Today, the only time I died was when this dude ran me over for killing him earlier, and the only reason he was able to was because I was fighting off this other dude. I proceeded to make the rest of his time in the session a living hell...little level 7 punk...

That reminds me, weird thing in multiplayer today; I flew on top of a building and started picking off civilians (trying to build up my 2nd character's shooting stat). After I lost one of my wanted levels, the police pulled off, got out of their car, and after I turned around and back, they disappeared...
Taking advantage of this rare opportunity of easily getting a police car, I flew down to the ground and acted like a cop with another player (that is, treating him like the armed and dangerous criminal he is )...until he put himself in passive mode.

Not all of them are like that, it's just an option that you have when you set up the race.
