Ah, the loveliness of having to do emergency landings on a highway because one of your engines starts smoking and sputtering out...

It's definitely weird going back to singleplayer after playing so much multiplayer, because the damage system is quite a bit different online than solo.

While online you can have a helicopter sputtering out for a long time (I remember me and Magmia going on like that for a LONG time), if that happens on singleplayer....You're screwed. Tried to successfully land a helicopter like that once and crashed into someones backyard instead...And if your plane engines have problems, or get too damaged? They're going to eventually start catching on fire and being useless (Unless you're in a mission apparently)

Yeah. I love it. Wish they'd do it in multi. It's fun, going to the airport, stealing a plane, letting the cops shoot it a few times, and seeing if you can pull off an emergency landing in the middle of the desert.

...I just had one of the weirdest ships to Trevor ever. I shifted to him, and he was on the highway...riding a scooter. He was near another scooter person, and shouted something like "We're like scooter brothers!", and kept rambling on about being scooter brothers....

It's amazing all the things you can still run across, even 110 hours into solo playing. I still have a lot of random encounters to finish...

Wisconsin9, I thought you would have wanted to do that thing you wanted to do with the cops; use your jet as air support. :p
And, unfortunately I screwed up with the upgrades I wanted; it was just sports and sports classics, not supers (I only have one super, that I don't want to modify any more than I have). :palm:

Eh...the app isn't really that great. Kind of buggy the last time I used it. Though, they might have fixed it since then

I've shifted to him in his underwear multiple times...Once drunk in the middle of nowhere...

I've been mostly playing Franklin lately, for whatever reason or other. But there are things I need to do as Michael, so I'll probably play him soon.

Ah...yeah, never really understood the usefulness of the airstrike. Having to use a flair is too inconvenient.

Sure I hate myself for it, but fuck it, we invited this. It's sad, but at some point you just stop caring. People can scream and cry but nothing will ever get done about it. When was it last that a shooting incident like this (or any other) actually made people legitimately search for answers or try a new approach? None that I can think of, It's been the same people, shouting the same expletives with the same people dying.

I hear they have good internet over in Scandinavia.

God, compared to the official GTA forum, this is a fucking paradise. The latest trend there is comparing GTA V to Watch Dogs.

Sucks? There are people there that think GTA V's lack of damage was Rockstar accommodating noobs. Game development is black magic and obviously what happens behind the scenes is clearly witchcraft.

And while I always am the type that thinks "Wouldn't it be nice for damage to continue to get all the better?", the damage didn't seem that bad at all to me...And I like how, in singleplayer, you realistically smash your front too much and your cars gonna be freaking useless to drive in no time at all. Kinda wish they had the same damage they have in solo play in multiplayer, but I'll assume there's some logical reason for that. One probably being it'd be annoying if everyone crashed into each other and killed each others cars immediately, but eh.

Console limitations. There's only so much you can fit on a console disk.

Yet we're talking about how something is in singleplayer and not in multiplayer?

I think it's network overload and such. There's already stuff with desync, where something that happens on one guy's screen doesn't happen to anyone else.

There are animals in single player and none in multiplayer because of console limitations. In short, it couldn't handle them on Live purely because the servers and networks can barely handle what's there at the moment.
