How is everyone enjoying the Beach Bums DLC?
The Vespucci Beach Survival is pretty fun but can get pretty difficult in the later waves.

I only got myself a free car and the free weapons, but the car is pretty awesome.

I'll have to join your crew once I've done my mocks next week.

For now just gonna piss about with the new DLC, I love the Survivals so should be fun.

It was still fun though. :p

Hold L1+R1, slows you real fast and gives you better control.

Ah, good to know. Thanks.

Haven't really seen a lot of the content yet, other than the weapons and cars. I did briefly drove around with the new cars in singleplayer (did a couple of drive-bys on Grove Street :p ).
Pretty sweet.

I like the weapons too.
So as far as that stuff, I like it.

Yep, you gotta love that it's free. :p
My respect for Rockstar has increased even more because of that. I mean, even the tints and extended clip for the new pistol are free...I think that's pretty generous.

Free to the public, and free in-game. A great combination.

Though, I'm starting to worry I'm going to have too many cars and not know what to limit my 10 cars to...

Hmm, question: Can you put a semi-truck in your garage?

Yeah, I've already had to sell a couple of my vehicles: my Pegassi Faggio and Gallivanter Baller. And I'll probably sell my Cheval Surge too.
Hopefully I'll have the room.

I'd be surprised if you could...can't imagine how a semi would fit in the garage. But I thought I saw somebody put a tank in their garage...so maybe.

I don't get why people would get cars they're never going to drive.

I only have 3 cars right now, because I don't really grab random cars and throw them in there. I have the first car I ever insured, which has a special place with me despite being a basic car because it was what helped me get started. It is like a decently nice 90's car or something. I like it, because to me it felt like a hand-me-down car from my parents and like a good car to start off with. I dunno, insuring a fancy car to start off with felt wrong to me. I guess I'm kind of roleplaying my character in a way.

The other two consists of a free Beach Bum Pack car and the free Nissan GTR equivalent which I think I need to paint because it looks kinda weird.

I spent all my stimulus money on weapon upgrades, weapons, ammo, and an apartment, not cars...

I should try the semi-truck thing later.

Well, I officially love the Beach Bum DLC. It looks like the new clothes are free as well...that's pretty awesome. And I was able to fit all three cars in my garage.

Wisconsin9 wrote:I don't get why people would get cars they're never going to drive.

I don't get it either. What's the point of getting a nice car if you're not gonna drive around in it and act like a big shot? 8) :p

That's pretty cool...maybe I should try some type of roleplay thing with my second character.

That's a nice car. Actually, I was driving mine when we were all on yesterday (it was the green one).

Pretty much the same for me too, though I did buy that Vacca.

Finally unlocked the assault rifle, woohoo! Earlier, I flew up to the roof of a LS Customs and killed a guy with the assault rifle as he trying to head inside. Then I flew up to a rooftop, and somebody landed on the building next to me...sniped him right in the head and took off. 8)

Also, I was irritated because some jackass was blasting his music (not from the game, his own music) with the fucking mic on...really man? :palm:

People do that ALL the time. It is like they forget their mic is on. It's silly.

I don't think it is AS bad if you have a headset, because I don't think it picks up as much except what you're saying right into the mic.

Speaking of that...there was this guy (because my turning off microphones still doesn't like working properly) who kept saying like "Bitch!" every time they killed me into the microphone, and even when I killed them. Along with saying some other things, but I always heard the B word...

Oh good god, Trevor is a cross-dresser. And just when I thought that was the worst sight in the game, I ended up witnessing him drop his pants while wearing the dress.
