True, but I think FiM would end at season 3 without bronies.

Also, since I recently bought a new Pinkie Pie plush toy, I am in a Pinkie Pie mood. So, Pinkie Pie is one of the Best Ponies.

I also agree with this. Yea, without the bronies, Hasbro probably would've ended the series after Season 3 and run re-runs for a few years afterwards.\

I am right because the IDW comics were intended for the large young adult following that MLP now has.

Flutterdash is cute, but not OTP. Soarindash is cute and OTP. Also, the mane six lesbian pairings had faded me a bit.

Yeah, because "Magical Mystery Cure" had Twilight, the main character, fulfilling her "destiny", thus that could be a good moment for the show to end. Many shows usually end at 65 episodes.

I remember either earlier in this thread or the last thread someone brought up that the keyboards seen in Ponyville Confidential had only two keys and thus most likely were using binary to type out the letters

I just remembered there is another system of communication that only used two symbols/sounds Morse Code. It would require less nerdiness (and time overall) than binary and would fit with the technology levels we've seen.

Especally since it takes a lot more binary to type a letter in. I had to learn this stuff for Computing.

It might be, it looks Spongebob's spatula. Apple Bloom is yellow and Spongebob is yellow, his talent his making burgers, there for A-B's talent is making burgers, hence the spatula cutie mark.

Correct'd. MLP's part of Hasbro's Holy Trinity. It, like Transformers and G.I. Joe, lasts as long as they can add new things to make into toys and the toys keep selling. Once they've exhausted the new ideas and the merchandise doesn't move fast enough, they kill the current series and revive the franchise with a new one. Then the cycle repeats itself. It's basic necrokinesis. That's how MLP and Co. have stayed alive for so long. The franchise's soul leaves; they just shunt in a new one.

Fair point.
They keep the G4/FiM toys going on for a bit and then maybe create a new show, maybe. My Hypothesis assumes that MLP is only a television series, not a toy line with a television show. Then again, there are plenty of bronies who buy MLP merchandise.

Apple Bloom's special talent is grilling pieces of dead cow. This is headcanon'd so hard I think I broke something.

And that is why they pander. We buy merchandise; they've accomplished their mission. Those of us who don't buy spread the word and start conventions and such, other people get interested and buy merchandise; they've accomplished their mission. We see some fanon canonized here (a la Derpy and DJ PON3) or some memes there (a la the comics); we get excited; the word spreads; the cycle continues. Once the whole viewership stops buying and spreading the word fast and wide enough, they kill this generation and start a new, similar one using the data collected from this one.

Exactly.
Speaking of that, I just thought of this one picture that showed Apple Bloom as the perfect mascot for McDonald's.
